Remember that Earth is limited in its age by a simple factor. Techtonic plates. Meaning this version of earth is not old, less then a few Million year old in fact as the continents look the same.

Regarding the obelisks, they were probably built by a civilization that was wiped out when the comet hit. Over the millions years of the cell stage, the remnants were buried by erosion, continental drift, and seismic activity..

Everyone, we have one single mission that may save Spore if we don't give up. Keep Spore alive. Make a bunch of videos, even spam the most popular you tubers you can find to do a let's play on spore. Then... If we succeed... EA will find the product they abandoned to be so popular they HAVE to continue using it! >:D (This is both a joke and seriousness so ye. :I)

You could find the age of the Earth by the shape of it's continents. Which means the Earth isn't too much older than it is now.

My theory is that steve is one of the great empires maybe the Masaari. This could mean that they were a large threat to the Grox and the Grox forced them into the galactic core. This supports why it's so heavily defended.

Masaari, due to Grox hiding the Staff of Life, and Steve (seemingly the last Masaari) hiding from the Grox. They both take place in the center of the galaxy, therefore it seems likely they'd fight.

I became an ally of the Grox and I got *Dance With The Devil* now all the galaxy really hate me -260 and the place which I go per the stars in the galaxy appears all empires doing war to me or capturing my systems all the time without even knowing me ... it's really stressful, as well as shaman with return ticket I should always be friendly, but it's impossible like so, the money the empires want in exchange to prevent war is too expensive and I have to fight them until completely destroyed or until they surrender. Why all the galaxy really hate the grox? they aren't so bad after all, they just are shy. if I'm ally of the Grox they will not attack other empires anymore, because I'm shaman, but the galaxy prefer the war and I can't understand why

They were probably at war with Moozilla. Just look at the skulls of the dead captains of the crashed ship you scan on your first mission. They are cow-like, yes? Now look at Moozilla heads. Seem familiar? The crashed ship was most likely shot down by the Grox and the passengers didn't make it, hence the skulls. Then they went forth and destroyed their civilization for interference with their reign. Maybe they were trying to study your character and how you evolve? How you act, fight, socialize? What if they were trying to study certain creatures to find the right ones to use to make super creatures who would aid them in raids and attacks on land? Makes you think. (That's all I got.)

That image of the crashed Moozilla spaceship has a drawing on the ground right next to it... It shows some symbols, a small stone and an arrow pointing to what could be representing a hole. This could have something to do with wormholes. Notice how the Chest of Moozilla mentions a secret about the knowledge to transcend time and space? What can do that in the game? Wormholes! They transport you instantly to a distant location many light years away (transcending space) and they transport you there instantly (transcending time), when we know that without the wormhole it would have taken a long time to get there. So I guess this is what the Chest of Moozilla and the drawing on the ground are about: Wormholes

Theory: 1. Look at the Galaxy when you are searching for a planet-there are MORE planets and near every planet which you can choose there is other planet with crashed spaceship.It's strange! 2. You can see in the planet with the crashed spaceship there is a message...What does it MEAN?Maybe it tells you for the Grox's war or for the humans or for...STEAVE!Just think about it..!

oh and they were at war during the creature stage cause the crashed ship only appears after the "Big Crash" (when a meteor hits and tons of small piesces fall that stun u when they hit u) the same time the other ship crashed at the neighboring planet in the same star

for me, when i saw a crashed spaceship it wasnt the grox it was a spaceship i made on another planet

I haven't played Spore for a while, but I remember that the Grox species aren't able to survive on T3 planets. Maybe this accounts for the ships, too. On any of the create-game planets, the homeplanets, the terrascore is T3. I'm not sure, but this might explain why that Grox ship crashed.

My world was 13 billion years old when I entered space stage so.. I think it depends on the amount of time you play in the cell and creature stages. I tend to remain as a cell/creature for a long time even after it is possible to advance into the next stage.

About moozilla being the only ones with that face, ive always seen the Hoggiraptors, and they have that face

notice how on the alien markings with the space ship, there's 4 circles, one big one and 3 surrounding it, one of the circles is filled witha shell and an arrow is pointing towards the campfire, could this mean it alll happened in Tribal Stage?

i don't know if this is normal but when i play creature stage i can find more spaceships that are not grox i even found spaceships i create to come and mine spaceships to be crashed.

I'd say Grox are at war with Masaari because of the Masaari Statue, maybe the Grox don't have a wormhole key for they are not good at making friends nor are they welcome to trade.

Spore is an acquired taste... I actually first discovered this game from watching game grumps, wich I watched because I was struggling with depression, after a long break from spore I came back to it and now I love it even more, This is my favorite game.

There's a difference between Earth and earth. Earth with the capital E means the actual planet we humans live on. Earth without the capital E just means earth, the ground. They did not necessarely had to mean the planet, because they spoke in Caps.

I've always reckoned that the Obelisk Builders are the same empires that wrote the philosophies followed by the later empires. They were at war with the Grox, but they ultimately lost that war, leaving the Grox as uncontested masters of the Galaxy. Except for Steve. I reckon Steve is the last surviving member of the Naturalist empire, with their greatest tools. But even though he has a tool which could obliterate the Grox, he has no way to deploy it, as he would get shot down as soon as leaving the Core. Based on the Chest of Moozilla description, I reckon they were either the Scientists or the Shamans. The chest is the tool they used as a last-ditch survival strategy, rewriting time so that they spread across all the galaxies without ever developing the interstellar technological empires that drew the attacks of the Grox. As for humans, I reckon they briefly flourished in the age before the player's empires, but after the Grox already reigned supreme. Bad luck for them that the Grox did a purging of all technological life in the galaxy just before the first player empire reached space stage.

Make a mod that increases how fast an NPC empire grows, it can add some epicness to a war between a large empire and the grox!

Hi, i have a theory, probably dumb. The Grox are humans that evolved - Steve couldve done something to Earth and Humans migrated to the center. Also, that might be the reason why Steve is hiding(?) in the Galaxy center. The Grox couldve got him cornered. So that would explain why they fight so much - they got betrayed. More like an idea than a theory, but i mean... uhh... we can think about it

Hey I just re-installed my game and updated it but whenever I get to tribal and try attacking or impressing the game immediately stops working and crashes does anyone have any idea how I'm to fix it? I just installed the latest patch and it still crashes. Without fail. At that specific spot. I can't use the forums cuz it won't accept any email or password I offer to sign up with.

Here's an idea: What if, instead of being at war with another empire, the crashed Grox Ship is the result of the Grox having a civil war?

The Grix existed before any of those empires (exepct the 1st,2nd, and third one) both grix and grox were at war with each other. that explains the grox ship exploring our planet in creature but they were also at war with the Dronox.(explains the crashed Dronox ship) also that crashed ship was the Dronox. the Dronox and Grox had the same ship design but the Dronox had lower health

Earth is just an EASTER EGG. Spode is not the Milky Way and the Grox don't have anything to do with Humans. They didn't wipe them out, Humans didn't de-evolve, none of that shit. It isn't even possible.

I mean sure maybe the war was with one empire then effected some others, but ALL of them? Btw keep up the great work once I came across this channel I was very happy to see that someone was doing this with the game still.

Here's a theory the grox went to war with the humans and moozillas and they won. Steve fled to the middle of the Galaxy and the grox conquered everything around him so he couldn't escape. The planet with the destroyed civilization was a human colony that the grox destroyed.

I have a spore theory. We humans call our sun...well "Sun". And Steve calls the sun "Sol"! "Sol" is "Sun" IN SPANISH! Since Steve spoke English, that humans inherited the English language from Steve! But according to this, humans weren't around at this time. But Steve WAS. This very well may be Maxis implying that Steve is immortal! BOOM! All because they referenced the sun as we call it. "The Sun"

the ship was moozilla it was probably sending for reinforcements to defend the home world but because of the grox's military might they never made it hence why when you visit the planet where you came from is destroyed because no one came to defend it and the grox happily conquered the planet with little to no effort the map was to show the way towards the home world of them so when the player finds it they where showing the way to the planet-boop theory log 91 finished

Here’s my Theory. Steve in Spore, is actually Steve from Minecraft. Earth was the home for all Minecraft players, when they were all killed for the blood god by the hands of Technoblade. Steve was the only survivor from the massacre. He built a ship and traveled to the center of the galaxy with a bunch of nether stars he collected to form new life to bring to other planets. Steve waits for the player to go to center of the galaxy, so he can give his creation so the player can recreate life on Earth.

Puny grox, I will destroy them all. Be certain of that.
