+luchiboy ty, this is such bullshit. This kid took at least 50 shots and no defenders. He's so bad and all the science made it look like good shit. This is so pathetic
M_A_S_O_N_ 32 THE GIRL IS SUPER PISSED AT ME AND IN HER ROOM ALONE READING. BUT THE BOY IS NICE. BUT ANYWAYS THE GIRL WONT LET ME TALK TO HER AND SHE HATES ME SO MUCH BC SHE THOUGHT I TOLD HER TO GO TO BED WHEN REALLY I JUST TOLD HER TO GET IN HER PAJAMAS. NOW SHES ALL UPSET AND IDK WHAT TO DO BC IM AFRAID SHELL TELL HER PARENTS. SHOULF I COMFORT HER OR JUST LEAVE HER ALONE??
Baron Davis had one attempt. He had 0.7 seconds to invent a shooting form that would haul the basketball far enough. He had no running start. He was decently well defended. He did it in front of thousands of loud fans. And he guaranteed that he would do it before the game. I don't care what the record is; that shot is one of the most legendary things ever.
@@chrisvibz4753 With enough tries, any relatively athletic person should be able to hit that shot. It doesn't take much force to throw a basketball 90 ft. Any baseball player older than 14 could throw it that far so then it's just up to attempts.
Papa Bear his body language suggested otherwise when he was talking about it. i understand the cynicism (the editing before he made it was ridiculous), but sometimes these things actually happen.
A true definiton of hard work and countless tries we've seen right here, and also a best closing throw of breaking a record after an exhausting time. Great job Kevin Love.
Two different records. One is longest shot in a game. The other is longest shot. Obviously the longest shot in the game is more impressive. But that doesn't mean he doesn't hold the longest shot record.
Baron's record still stands. He did it during a live game on one shot. Not 98 attempts in a lab lol. Still impressive, though. I couldn't get the ball that far.
Ahmed Isayli You do have to notice though how Baron actually threw his shot overhand unlike Love who was just shooting it normally. Trying to shoot it normally is much harder.
CallumDaSkater no it isnt, they fail so many times when making those and for people like you who think otherwise it probably doesn't make them feel so good because they are being taken for granted on all the work they did
No, have you just seen the last video, they even showed a few bloopers and one of the guys got hit in the nuts, and not everything you read on the Internet is real
I do photo and video editing as a living, I know what's real and what's not. If you examine te basketball its a looped clipped. They don't fake all their shots, but some.
xXsnopDOGtrICkShOt42069 It doesn't specify that it has to be a ground shot but only a basketball shot so i think making a shot from atop a stadium takes the cake..... And i mean ALOT of cake...
Can you people think. He did not break the record. 1. Barrin did do it one handed. 2. Barrin was under pressure. 3. He did not run and then shoot. 4. He was being blocked and a little off balance. Don't worry barring you still got the record.
@matthew baker agreed, so can we all come to the consensus that at this ppint they are all luck? This beings up the questiong though what was the longest shot that was not luck?
doing it in a lab versus in a game with defenders from an odd angle are two different things completely different. I'm sure many pro players could sink this 90 foot straight shot with no obstruction within the first 20 tries.
stinkin lincoln you do know defenders don't have to play until the game ends. if your team isn't gonna win and there's 3 seconds left you're not gonna go try your hardest, you're just gonna stay on the court. So how about think for once, you dumbass.
ImUnloved He is now a role player, not a legit allstar. His playing level declined during the Cavs super team era. Perhaps that's just the usual effect of playing with a good team. Just like how DWade's playing level declined during the Heat super team era.
***** consider READING A DICTIONARY? wow you are a moron yeah let me just go read a few chapters out of the dictionary you dipshit. look up this in the dictionary: IGNORANCE. SMH
No, Im saying we're clearly not born equal. We all have different bodies, capable of doing some things better than others. Statistically speaking, People of African decent are generally taller, and are generally more equipped with the ability and skill set that basketball demands to play at the highest level.
gearsofwar2pwnfest It's not racist but it's wrong I don't think blacks or whites have an advantage in this particular thing. You see all the white pitchers and qb's? They have good arms.
Also, just to recap the greatness of the Baron Davis shot... Baron's was in a game, a buzzer beater, over a defender in his face, with one hand, rainbow arched, nothing but net, on the first try, in front of a packed arena. = GOAT shot.
i did this in grade 6 . half of a soccer field i got it in 3 times in a row . through it with one hand though . it was eairly in the mourning and no body saw me do it . i was soo amazed with my self.
MR1000101 nah he kinda right i mean he did make the shot but it needs to be under proper conditions..... in a game situation with a defender in his face....
Baron did that with no running start, with a guy in his face and trying to throw it before the clock hit 0 seconds. I give props to Kevin Love for making it and all, but Baron Davis's shot was miraculous
I've literally made several full court shots with a basketball as a baseball player in high school and I could only throw 87 MPH. The impressive thing here is a chest pass full court shot.
Jordan Stewart but its a record for longest shot, not most impressive. The requirements of the record only involve distance, nothing to do with circumstance.
Not trying to be a buzz-kill, but I find this whole thing quite silly. As other posters have said, there's basically NO COMPARISON between the real game shot and this. And almost 100 attempts?! Plus the build-up takes forever, the yells are annoying, as is the host's overreaction.
How dumb is America? I'm obviously joking everyone. I thought this was obvious enough without adding an annoying "lol" or :-) I'm smart enough to know if dp could make all off those shots on the first try, they would be VERY rich professional athletes; not just popular RU-vid characters. Another thing, had they done this, they would have the world record. Since I have to explain everything, there is no Santa, there is no easter bunny and your daddyisnt coming home...ever.
Technically, this isn't a NBA record because its not in an NBA game. So if this Plus he has all the time and space in the world.....! Check out Dude Perfect, they've made longer :p
Replay the video again. It's one hand shot and in much harder way than Beron Davis record. I wonder if Davis can agree to repeat his record. What is known that Love made this bucket shot from 90ft.
Everyone just chill. Nobody's claiming that this shot was better as it was farther. It was just to see if somebody else could actually get it in from that far. Obviously it's not an in game situation.
