I wish you could have installed them with the second generation updated HiAd trucks like the HO scale versions…. BNSF updated all the Dash 9-44CW with them especially this paint scheme…
I just received a pair of Santa Fe unit, #629 and #644. Absolutely beautiful models, but when they are running at high rpms, I feel that the exhaust sound is not quite right. They seem to loose that GE "chug" and become more screechy.
Blown away at the details. Those mold injections must cost you a fortune. I can see why you chose overseas, here in the usa it would be triple what they cost there. The way you make your trains is almost like they do in real life except you don't use fuel.
Anyone else fee that the quality of the trucks has went down hill this generation? My older units were very nicely painted on the trucks and this run they look very plasticy and fake. You can see it in the video here. The sales image shows nicely painted trucks with the brake cans having a more plasticy look. When they show the actual model the trucks look dull.
