Spray Cheese Sausage 

This needs a re-sausaging, with the spray cheese thoroughly mixed with the meat before getting into the sausage skins

Back when I was poor in college, I would go to the local gas station for 50 cent hotdogs. I'd get a can of spray cheese to spice it up and it was one of my favorite meals, so the 2/5 was devastating to me. I dont know how I survived college

Cheese in sausage is actually wonderful - just don't use this canned spray abomination. Slowenia and Austria have a cheese variant of Krainer ("Carniolan sausage" ) where the ground meat has small cubes of solid Emmentaler cheese mixed in. They melt during the boiling of the sausage and combined with the meat juice, stay liquid and wonderful then. There's also Berner sausage (named after an Austrian man, not the Swiss city!), stuffed with cheese in a similar way, wrapped in thin slices of bacon and then fried. Delicious stuff!

*Try using unsplit chopsticks!* It won't be as messy and spectacular, but might actually work. Take a pair of unsplit chopsticks, mark them the length of the link (so you don't go too far), insert pointy end. The extra length outside will hopefully keep it mostly sealed and give you a turning handle. Then remove the chopsticks after and see if you have a hole big enough for the cheese. (Maybe squeeze a straw onto the end of the nozzle also?)

I would say to revisit this, and instead of trying to inject it, spray a line of cheese onto a pan, and put it into the freezer, then skewer the sausage with the frozen spray cheese stick

You will then have an outer core of sausage And an inner core of cheese. Leave slack on each end for contraction of sausage and expansion of cheese wiz? Seems in depth and if ya don't wanna do it, you're cool. Just an idea if you're bored and wanna come back to it.

Try using a straw, stick the straw through the middle and clear out the sausage from it (while still inside the sausage), then spray down one end of the straw as you pull the straw out, letting it fill all the way down the center of that bad boy.
