When are you planting this year? I just planted and sprayed pre emergant yesterday. I had a short window of a few sunny days between weeks of thunderstorms. 1st year trying it.
looking good. sunflowers at my house came up in 6 days and are looking great. now time to wait for imox and then start reloading for the season before you know it.
Glad we didnt rent the drill for last weekend, poured rain all weekend and would have been a bust. Worried we are a touch late, but I think we will be ok. 75ish days for maturity will put us mid August which is still fine. Our corn is coming in great! Will upload a video
@@DLXSKIFFMITCHELL Agreed, in my experience the birds hit them quick as soon as they start wilting. They dont need to fully dry like corn in my experience
@@Yellowlab247_NC_Outdoors Looks like I might have to broadcast my sunflowers this year. Field in Missouri so wet got my 4X4 tractor stuck last weekend try to disk. Rains every other day. Saturday I will make the decision.
Found your channel a few weeks ago and really appreciate the info. I just sprayed my new sunflower patch yesterday with burn down. We have been getting .5+" of rain everyday for the last 10+ days. It was muddy but I got across it
Cool, that burn down worked great. I just sprayed my lower section of the field this past Monday in preparation for planting the Dove Proso Millet. The top section that is in wheat and oats will get sprayed the first of June in preparation for the brown top millet. I'm just going to spread the brown top millet in the standing wheat and then mow it after seed spreading. I may run the culti-packer over it as well. Hopefully I'll be able to burn all of my millet patches this year.
I hope you can burn them, makes a big difference! Have to allow enough drying time or plan to spray. Plant moisture makes a huge difference. I might plant a touch earlier this year.
