Nice to hear you’re dairying 😉. Hope all goes well 👍 Did you not get the robot going as you sounded more like being a conventional parlour dairyman. ? And your comment on nothing much has happened really don’t explain the change as done it myself just over 4 years ago and it definitely alters one’s lifestyle somewhat 😥. Good to get that slurry out as grows very little in the tank👍

We still have the robots to be put in but we are at a rented farm in a parlour at the moment as it just got us milking more quickly allot to put in place to get the robots going

@@winteragriculturalservices1678 that sounds a smart move but hopefully you can find sometime still to focus on your own install as be easier at home but I’d guess still a mega amount of work to get everything in place. Video it in detail as it will be a lovely record of what you’ve achieved and accomplished for future reference 😉 I personally think milking via a parlour pre robots is essential. We milked with a bail for 3 months pre robots coming online and it give’s routine and hands on experience which is vital. At least its given you chance to get a milk contract in place and start producing as with some oversupply in the pipeline it was great to have gotten a contract before doors tightened 😊. Would your milk just be crossing Bridgewater? Nice n local if you are😊

@@kevinmanley2498 yeah hopefully towards the end of the year into 2024 we will be getting close to being sorted with robots, definetly plane to film it all as will be great to look back and see it in years to come. Used to milk in a 6 step up when I was 19/20 and then worked on a farm with Delaval robots that transitioned back to a parlour whilst I worked there so have had a fair bit of experience with a few different systems which is always good. and definitely been ideal to get a contract under our belt and get that all important milk cheque coming in every month. Milk is actually going to Ditcheat barbers cheese. The local guys weren't interested in a small new start up :/ But Barbers have been great!
