Witches have different seeds but their work is almost the same power Spree's just more radical. Military just use their power to protect. I just love how broad the creator mind coming up with this kind of work just spectacular.
Even more than that, they haven't fully touched on any of the ancestral Work and the Ancient Seeds yet. Khalida and Alder seem to be two of the only women with any sense of those seeds, of what they can do. Most modern witches aren't allowed to practice them, so they've fallen out of use and out of common knowledge. Chances are those same seeds are capable of manipulating and folding reality, if the Spree are already able to manipulate the elements and control minds en masse.
Work is Work, “Spree Work” is just Work used by the Spree. They’re all witches. It’s just that some of it - pyro-shapeshifting, weaponized pushing, etc. - was created specifically by the founder of the Spree. 😈 No spoilers for who that is though.
