Got a big triceps pump today when I finished with cable machine kickbacks. Cable at roughly elbow height and then facing the stack push back the weight one arm at a time. big range of motion & really burns
Hey Sam - big fan, love your work. I'm interested in this obsession that you have with the pump - you seem to equate a good pump with a good work out, from a growth perspective. There's no doubt that a pump is a sign you have worked relatively hard, but it is also true that you get the best pump when you use smaller weights and very high reps (look at all the bodybuilders backstage using bands to pump up pre-show). It is definitely not concrete evidence that you have damaged your muscles significantly for hypertrophy. Are you not concerned that with your low set scheme you are leaving gains on the table?
