Today is my 21st birthday, just picked up the hellcat & some ammo can’t wait to get to the range this weekend! Thank you spn you were one of my reasons I chose the hellcat over the 43x
Happy birthday i shot the hellcat and 43x and loved both but the hellcat was better imo then sights were amazing that front sight and i have 1 more month before i turn 21 and can buy a handgun in Ohio! Do I have to renew my drivers license first thing in the morning on my 21st birthday tho?
Man I love the hellcats. I'm still blown away with how many rounds they squeeze into such small firearms and magazines, without compromising even a little bit of reliability.
That black and red build 🖤 ❤🖤❤️ damn I'd like to see that again. Looked nice trigger wrap, I don't have a EDC yet, I'm still on a service Glock 17. #newshooter. Helcat or G 43 with that SC frame. Loved that burrito 🌯 holster 😅
@@jason200912 I had a chance to shoot it I just failed to mention that but the hellcat recoil to me is similar to the sig p365 which isn’t a bad shooting gun but thanks for the feedback it’s appreciated.
@@frodriguez2027 I still miss the finger grooves, to be honest. I'm carrying the gen 5 because it's fully lefty friendly with the ambi slide stop... but the finger grooves of the gen 4 and even my old gen 3.. they just work for me. I'm sure I'll get used to the gen 5 100% in time... but ya know after 15 years of one way ..it takes a bit to get used to a new thing, lol.
The clouds are the logo to the Akatsuki from Naruto. They were one of the major villain organizations that almost brought the world to it's knees. Also bad some or the coolest animated Villains of all time
Went to the pawn shop today looking for a cheap 22lr. Saw a Walther P22 there and right above it was a Hellcat, stainless steel slide just like yours for 500 dollars brand new. I put it on layaway Lol. Cant wait until its paid off
SPN that backplate is from the Akatsuki (Naruto), one of the most legendary villain groups in all anime 😭 it’s so sick, of course you’re going to have people amazed by it. You look like a total badass having that on
Only had the one short chance to try the Hellcat at the factory shoot I went to... I was busy being impressed by the Stoeger STR-9MC that day, but aside from that, the Hellcat was certainly a great feel (though I called it a "distant 2nd" that day) . As to the Glock... I still haven't had the chance to shoot ANY Glock yet, but the grip angle felt a little off for me when I've held them.
I have the Siig 365 And the Springfield hell cat. I love them both. But you introduced me to the Stoeger. I went to the gun shop 2 weeks ago And I fell in love with it. I am going to try and get it by the end of the summer. I have tiny hands. So I have to be very particular about my hang guns. The Taurus Gx4 Is another Handgun, that does well. Have you done a show on that? Your shows are very good.
OG Glock 26 has been CCW workhorse for decades and I've learned to love it and shoot it with two finger grip and have no problem shooting accurately. Far as lights I go old-school handheld.
I bought my hellcat, first time at the range night front sight felt, sent it to the factory they replace the night sight but it cannot be seen at night like it was when new
heavy equipment operator here ( I sit in a cab most of the day) and carry my hellcat appendix. Sometimes, 4 o’clock, it’s Compact and slim. She’s a snappy gal. But like you said, “because of the size, everyone tries to fight the recoil”. Yes indeed 😂😂. First case at range went a littttttleeee tooooooooo low left on the paper😂.
Snappiness can be eliminated by either using a heavy light, a compensator, and most importantly using lightweight high velocity bullets instead of heavy
Since my Hellcat is my snappiest micro9 I'm thinking I'll carry it w Critical Defense Lite 100gr. Very manageable recoil with those rounds and reliable so far. Have your Hellcat magazines and manipulations gotten easier after X amount of rounds?
@@SoundsOfEarthNatureRelaxation 2 Glock 43s (1 OEM, 1 built), Taurus GX4, Ruger Max9. Hellcat is the only one I've not added any grip to, yet, but is also the most difficult for me to load the mags, rack the slide, etc. It's doable, but my GX4 and Glock43 I've found more "pleasant" to operate if that makes sense. May need to break in my Hellcat, I'm not sure
I really want a 26. I would love to build one, but I have never done that before. Would you recommend buying one at the gun shop, or building one and is building one cheaper?
You could probably just find a used one in the configuration that you are wanting. Glock is one of the few guns I would buy used and it’s usually a lot cheaper if someone made changes to it.
That slide cover is funny. The red clouds are from a manga/anime called Naruto. That's such an odd random niche to see put into production as a firearm accessory.
500 Rounds Each: Springfield Armory Hellcat vs Sig Sauer P365 (More Than 1,000 Rounds Shot) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wdP5VtRV8EU.html
You know I think a lot has to do with brand name. Springfield doesn’t sell nearly as many handguns as sig, smith, Glock, etc. also, the whole 2A scandal over there ruined it for people. Respect
P365 lovers always say the same thing. Despite the 365 being fatter. Heavier, less accurate on bench rests, lower capacity.... the sig lovers always say that they believe it feels stronger. Which is placebo talk.
I want the 26 to further the micro glock collection. Already have the 27 and 33. Just need a 29, 30 and 26 to complete the package....but damn they are costly. All for would be around $2700 in micro glocks. Not counting the 20 or 43x. Sheeesh this gun thing takes all my $$$$. But I rather that then drugs or alcohol 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Why doesn't Glock build a small staggered stacked handgun? I like the added length of the G26 for accuracy, but the double stacked magazine is not the most efficient way to minimize width. I'd love to see Glock produce that
Between single stack, double stack, and stagger stack. Stagger is considered the least reliable magazine design due to the friction of the rounds rolling in the magazine as it feeds. Glock always believed inefficiently was acceptable and unreliability was not. Even though they may be reliable enough for most people, glock and other companies in the past opted to min max towards reliability. Stagger stack is not a new concept. What is a new concept is the acceptance of a lesser reliable system in order to make guns super thin. Sorry for the paragraph. But this is why glock refuses to make a Stagger stack magazine.
@@jason200912 double stack pistols only stagger the last 2 rounds in the magazine. Check out a video by Theyankeemarshal named "Why glock refuses to switch to metal magazines for more capacity" he explains very well the issue with stagger stacked magazines and why they are inherently less reliable than double or single stacks.
@@baptistgaming91 staggered is more reliable than double stack glock and Ian from forgotten weapons actually is a true firearm expert while Yankeemarshall admit he goes extreme sometimes. I think he's bipolar
Dang that’s a tough choice there😐 I’d have a hard time choosing over the Glock 26 and the Shield plus Although that 26 is a brick compared to the Shield Plus some people like that.
@kerrygofourth6412 Maybe. If I hadn't dropped it over a hundred times I would believe you. But I have dropped it over a hundred times. Concrete, wood floors, Down apartment building stairs, It never went bang.
