This is my 1 year review of the Springfield Armory Emissary Full size 5" 1911 .45 ACP 1:16 twist rate bull barrel full length guide rod G10 grips front night sight/u notch rear MSRP $1378
I love mine. I have the commander size. It is heavy, but it handles serious loads with ease. It is accurate, has a great trigger, and has fantastic feeling grips. The sights have become some of my favorites. Mine shows wear on all the high spots as I carry this pistol a lot. I think it looks even cooler now. Thanks for the video.
That slide really shines. I wouldn't want to ruin the shine. I like it can't believe they put a plastic trigger. Like it except for the trigger it ruins the entire look and build. Great video
Yea that sucks, but at least its easy enough to replace. Thing is too expensive for them to decide to plastic it up on your primary interface with the weapon!
Good video nice gun I can't believe they put a plastic trigger on their I stay away from it just because of that reason that makes me think that they did something else cheap inside
The lines cut into the top of the slide are to deflect sun or artificial light glare while aiming. Its a beautiful looking 1911 and next on my list to buy. Have you had any jam ups or problems cycling?
Sir you might want to move your support hand so it’s tight against the side of the pistol without your thumb up near the barrel. The gap you are leaving in your grip is what causes you to not have control of the pistol
It's a defense 1911 plastic trigger no big deal, I like it!!! If it is big deal swap it out!!! I have the 4.25 45 and the 9mm. I'm glad they threw in the plastic trigger. Which is it they dropped the ball, or you really like it? Nice grouping on the target to dispise the pistol. 😊
