Welcome to our van conversion series. In this episode we show how we insulated the walls of our campervan. In our last video we showed you how we built our insulated floor. Now the time has come to insulate the walls of the van.
We used glass wool insulation for the walls. This is a pretty messy and time consuming job and we had to vacuum the van often and thoroughly. Also, wear a mask and keep the van ventilated at all times.
We use foil-faced reflective bubble wrap or as it’s also called reflective foil insulationto make the vapor barrier along the walls. To keep the reflective foil insulation in place we used reflective aluminium tape.
