I have a "normal" 3/4" bought more than 30 years ago. For the rear hub nuts on air cooled VW Beetles. It was used with a long piece of scaffold steel pipe. It was expensive but after several decades still look like new! ;-) For everything else I use the regular 1/2", shorter than the one on the video. I did broke a couple of cheap sockets with it. But still going strong. On this video we see a clear example of how NOT to use them. Leaving aside the dubious quality of the socket. The fact remain the guy unfortunately don't have a clue on how to use it. I deal regularly with several Mercedes Vito, my own Renault Trafic and a big etc. I've seen colleagues changing tyres. In such a way, the electric impact wrench was starting to smell burned! The socket couldn't be held with naked hands due to the ridiculous amount of heat. They said it loud and clear, they were trying to remove them for the last 15 minutes. Only one bolt was out! LOL 😂 😂 Took me at least 20 seconds to release the remaining 4 bolts. With the exact same breaker bar and impact wrench they had on service... Didn't even sweat. 🙂 Very old Portuguese saying, in English goes something like this: "The one who doesn't know, is like the one who doesn't see" ;-)
