LC200N is a high nitrogen steel meaning it has a significant amount of nitrogen added in lieu of extra carbon to harden the steel and form nitrides, achieving 59-60HRc max after heat treatment. This results in a steel that is nearly rust proof while taking and holding a nice edge. From the native 5 salt and waterway cut testing and sharpening, I believe they are hardened between 58.5-59.5HRc. This is very reasonable and hits at or above many companies S30V and M390.
Native 5 Salt:
Starting score after original sharpening was about 130g BESS. After 3weeks of constant EDC use and swimming in a lake several times, the native 5 salt had no sign of corrosion anywhere (blade, pivot, hardware, lock) and scored a 238g BESS average.
Waterway:
Starting score after original sharpening was about 90g BESS. After months in the shower staying wet 24/7, cutting several shampoo bottles and breaking down 1 chicken, the waterway still scored a 108g BESS on average and would shave very easily. After a few passes on 0.5um CBN on balsa the remove the built up Chromium Oxide layer it scored a 95g BESS which was expected.
