I meant to say that I was bluing the lanyard tube, not the pivot. Not sure if the pivot is hardened and heating it up to blueing temps would definitely soften it up. I repeat, do not heat up your Pivot!
There’s a hardware set on eBay that includes Ti stand offs and a Ti button. The Tichung knives tend not to have as many options available, most of the hardware is not interchangeable between Golden CO and Tiawan Spydercos
have have skiff bearings for my smock. but the bearings that are in from the factory are almost drop shut, i can't see them improving ? what do you think ?
The stock bearings are some of the best I have seen on a factory knife, very similar to Skiffs. I dont know if Skiffs make enough of a difference to warrant the extra cost.
