This is my tribute to the greatest Squash player of all time... He's been a thorough inspiration to me and I continue to learn so much everytime I go through his matches. He's simply the best squash player to grace the squash courts all around the world. This video gives a basic insight into the man's career.
It also shows views that some of the top players hold regarding Jansher Khan, all in all, I believe this makes for very interesting viewing and I hope you enjoy this video as much as you have enjoyed the videos before (hopefully more). Thanx for watching, Cheers !

the pro at our club played against both Jansher and Jahangir on the PSA. I asked him who was better. He paused and said "they were both great. Jansher would let you play great against him, you just wouldn't win any points or games. Jahangir would blast you off the court." He couldn't say who was better though.

With respect to the great Jahangir and his incredible record-- and all the incredible athletes and racquet artists who have followed-- sometimes it seemed the only thing that could defeat Jansher was his own boredom at beating the top players in the world so easily.

Jansher is the best though many people consider Jahangir. Jahangir's wouldn't be able to set British open record or unbeatable run for five years if Jansher or Peter Nicol were there to challenge him early....To know how much Jansher was better than Jahangir, see the world open final 1993....let the result speaks for itself....

I hv great privilege seeing both played live few times as well as seen good recordings of some of these games many years back . After 35 years of constant comparing, I honestly still can't decide who is greater. There r 2 GOATs

jansher killer foot work on court make him walk on court rather than sprint , i wouldnt be wrong if jansher is roger federer of squash or roger federer is jansher khan of tennis

Jansher Khan was truly a unique craftsman on the court. Rodney Martin and he were the pioneers of modern squash.

I was chatting to Ross Thorne last night (he plays socially at our club) - I asked him: "Jahangir or Jansher?" Without hesitation, he replied "Jahangir - he was much more aggressive, whereas Jansher was more reactive" The debate continues! 😉

I saw janher playing with jahanhir and won janher esaly. For me janher was better than jahanhir and better of the rest of the players.

james .maddox Respectfully, jansher was the greatest player. His record indicates nothing otherwise notwithstanding jahangir went unbeaten for so many years. Jahangir's main rivals were older and mostly past their prime. ( Zaman, Awad, jahan, hunt, the English players and Aussies weren't as good as the players that came after them). I was always a Jahangir fan regarding the greatest of all time but having seen nearly all of them ; jansher was supreme. Unbelievable player. Annihilated opponents. I saw him beating Adrian Davies 27-0. Davies was a top 20 player.

@@bilaltareenkhan1 don't have the native files anymore - my computer was stolen a week after I put this up in 2009 that being said, if I ever got the chance to meet up with these greats again, I would be able to produce a completely cinematic version of this as, this kind'a work actually led me to become a professional photographer/cinematographer 😊
