Leaving aside for a moment his unbelievable record and tally of PSA titles; it's what he was able to do in any given rally. He made players run around him like lunatics whilst he more often than not sauntered to the front of the court and put the ball away. Outside of Hunt and Nicol (Scottish) The Aussie players are a little muted in their praise of him. He beat them senseless over a long period. 😊. The Goat.
The only Australian who beat Jansher on many big occasions like the British Open and the World Open was Rodney Martin. The rest were swept away by him.
awesome video. loved the voice over and the captions. excellent work... a great tribute to one of the Great Khans of Pakistan... I do feel that somehow we Pakistanis shortchanged Jansher given his stature in the game. thank you Jansher for being such a brilliant player and bringing so much fame to your country...
Jansher and Jahangir khan probably greatest squash players of all times.Jahangir khan won about 555 consecutive matches and remain unbeaten for 5 and a half year which one can dream of.
He was pure genius, amazing retriever who would glide to the t, he was devastating at the front of the court. I watched him beat chris ditmar in wembley and he was almost casual in a gruelling sport. Thanks for the video, do you have the match in Karachi jahanghir v jansher when jahanghir returned after injury and lost 3-1
Zeeshaan, I recall, Jansher and Jehangir were in world finals in Karach in 1993, the opening rally was +100 shots and it ended in a let, can we have that ? Anil, Mumbai.
I just somehow feel than Jansher is greater than Jahangir. They both have incredible resumes but the control and all around skill that Jansher has... hmm perhaps I am just being biased towards styles. I need to think about it much harder.
