They did well giving a little background to many of the supporting cast who only got a tiny bit of screen time like the math teacher, the married couple and the religious guy. Look at impact of Ji-yeong's story of killing her dad. She was only featured in about 2 1/2 episodes.

He saved Gi-Hun in round 1, Sae-bayeok in round 2, all of them in tug of war and we don't talk about round 4. He carried whole team alongside Ali, but unlike Ali, he didn't do it because of sympathy

Only in trying to save himself. The only time he selflessly did so was in round 1. That was up in the air as soon as he guessed what the challenge was and didn't help his newfound allies.

Ham it up all you want. Just do it well. The show really missed the mark on the VIPs (as well as on a lot of stuff in the last three eipsodes).

I'd wrecken it's hard to direct actors in a language you're not fluent in. If someone asked you to direct a scene in spanish, you couldn't begin to assess whether their performance is good or not

@@hirvale I said this about Gi-hun in the first episode. I was trying to work out if he was a good actor or if he was being over the top because I couldn't decipher how he was saying certain things. I concluded that he was really good but honestly there's no real way for me to tell except to ask actual Koreans. But as an English speaker, those actors were awful.

You’re taking a big risk then, they also never said you could take them with you. So it’s all up to the game maker at that point what they’ll allow. And looking at what they did with the glass manufacturer guy, you think they would truly be “fair” to you?

When the VIP dude said “I like you better when you don’t talk” I was thinking the same thing about all the VIPS lol. Their acting/dialogue was really subpar when compared to the amazing Korean actors in this show. Just my opinion.

thats apart of the selfishness of the players like in the beginning they bring it up and one guy was saying its unfair that only the deceaseds family gets money but they dont so he wanted to continue to try and win it all.

thats if there is no winner. if there is a winner, he gets ALL that money. if there is no winner (if they quit) the money is split among the families of those who died

But forced equality is unfair, people are different, each one has its own qualities, making the game equal by bringing down the ones that are better in certain areas is a flawed philosophy. If equality really were the case here the tug-of-war teams should've been chosen by the Game Master, so it wouldn't end up unbalanced.

okay but its part of his past, a model would probably be good at red light green light since they have good motor control of their body. Big strong guys have an advantage in tug of war. Everyone comes into the game with advantages from their brawns, brains and past. Suddenly now trying to make that "equal" doesnt make sense. The glass bridge, the advantage benefits everyone. They all can follow his lead, and step on safe platforms to the other end. The probability of picking the wrong glass drops to 0% now. But you're right, it was definitely for the VIP's entertainment. They were bringing it up and everything too.

Roughly 1 in 16 or 6.25%. There were 3 pushes onto glass, 1 push that didn't hit any glass, and 1 mutual destruction swan dive. The 4 that hit glass were failures so 1/2^4 ignoring the guy that just got shoved over the side. They were very unlucky in general.

@@MarieAnne. he wouldn't throw it, just gently drop in a straight line. I was wrong, it would be better done with two tempered glasses in a straight line because the distance is shorter. He could ask someone to hold his arm and increase his reach. Of course they would have to work together and need some more time.

The closest game I can think of was one where players have to cross a body of water on a series of rocks, some of which aren't real rocks that collapse when you step on them. That's more of a Japanese game show thing though.

Wonder what the next big show will be that will force reactors to drop everything and react lol. It's obviously not to be nice to yall, this reaction is heavy easy views, get it while its hot, plus this causes new subscribers, I'm more amazed if a reactor didn't react to this show or took their time and skipped reacting to the new hotness out of just being too busy. Most reactors say they have no time for new shows...then somehow can drow everything and watch an 8-hour show. Which is like a whole season of an anime, the same animes people keep begging them to try out they could nock out in like a day or two given this show's speed. Not trying to hate, definitely sounds like it but just pointing it out since people on many channels keep praising reactors for ever even thinking of watching the MOST POPULAR SHOW IN HISTORY this year. It's a no-brainer even if they weren't interested in the show...watch it and gain hits.
