hi i accidently destroyed the thread on the outerbarrel and in the receiver even tho i didn't over thight it. i just screwed it in and since there wasn't any resistance i took it back out and saw that thew thread was gone. is this a common problem, and is it something the warranty are gonna cover?
Crap well hope that not $300 gone... I've no idea what happen but my gun is no longer working. I never even got to play with it. I pulled the bolt and that seems to be working properly. However the barrel doesn't go on properly. I made sure to have the bolt half cocked so I don't screw my bucking. However putting the barrel on the gun seems to not want to fire properly.the outer barrel is extremely hard to put back on and upon taking it off I did noticed the spot where the screw goes to hold the outer barrel on looks kinda jacked up. I might have found the issue, the black ring if you put it in the wrong direction it can mess everything up. The issue with the screw that holds the barrel was pretty jacked up though. I will be using it for the first time tomorrow. Hope it proforms as many videos have shown.
I cannot get this outer barrel in line when I screw it back on. Every time I screw it back on no matter where I start it always ends up with a Hop up at where the scope would be.
I’m afraid I’ll screw up something while in the process of changing the spring, therefor making it inconsistent and inaccurate. I’m confident I can do the change tho
I’m gonna be ordering the SSG10 A1 450fps version because you guys are out of stock of the 500fps version for the USA warehouse. And I’m in the USA. And I can’t wait another month to get one and play with it. So I’m ordering a m170 spring. I’m afraid it’s gonna give me problems or not perform precisely and auccuratly after I change the spring. I’m afraid it’s gonna act up and give me problems after I change the spring
Just so you guys know. When adding rings the rifle might not fire anymore if thats the case you need to remove a couple rings. Mine only took the 4mm ring if i added more the rifle would not cock anymore.
Should probably mention that when I unscrewed the outer barrel the plastic/rubber ring that sits just inside came out with it but in multiple pieces... How much of an issue is this?
Nicholas Dial did you clean out the gun after you got it? Sometimes the barrel of airsoft guns could not shoot right because of the manufacturing process, and some oils might have gotten in the barrel making it shoot weird. I say try cleaning the inside of the barrel and making sure the components are tight and on right.
When are the generation 2 glide rings going to come out? The stock glide ring causes the piston cylinder to wobble a bit, which in turn affects how the cylinder head enters the hopup unit. Please answer this question as it is a crucial element that will affect the longevity of the ssg10's internal parts.
Got from 2.5j to 2.75j in 100 shoots made! M160 and all shims(spacers) 2,4,6mm spring and factory New. Still not 2.9 i wanted😅 should i try m170 without spacer or will it still break 3j? 0.40-0.43g Bbs
At 4.30 when I pull the bolt all the way back I do not get a klick. Aslo, I can't remove the spring guide. It stays inside, wobbling around. I have the A1 model. Anyone know why that does not happen for me?
I noticed that my spring guide didn't come out easily - I ended up having to rack it back really hard. And then when I put it back together I can only get one shot and then it won't hold. I think it might be something to do with the piston sear

Can you teach us how to replace the outer barrel on ssp1
I am told that I can change the spring by opening the rear of bolt without removing the furniture, which is supposed to be the right way between game play. Am I right?Your way seems to be too much disassembly
How are you supposed to remove the rear part of the bolt, that is rivetted in and you have no access. Whoever told you about accessing the spring fron the back was referring to aegs that have that option, and in no way to sniper replicas that need to have realy sturdy back components to keep the spring guide pressure and bolt pull pressure. This is the easyest way, you can also go the hard way and take the full bolt out
Umm can i change the m170 spring to vsr-10 the same way as the ssg 10 can you please tag me so i can see the answer i really need the information. And do i have to remove the spacers from the inside
eu.novritsch.com/product/ssg-spring/ scroll down and youll see a chart.. M150 (light BB's) or the M160 (heavy BB's)... i would choose the 150 .. thats definitly not more than 2.3 joules
If your talking about the springs then Yeah it should the ssg 10 is compatible with the Tokyo Marui Vsr 10 but there can be compatibility issues with tm clones.
I put a sp 190 spring in my ssg 10 A2. The bolt is pretty hard to pull back but my main issue is that the bolt doesn’t feel as smooth as it did with the stock spring. Does anyone know if over time it will feel smoother and if not how can I make it smoother? also if I should continue using that powerful of a spring I don’t want to damage the gun even though it should handle springs like this
The spring will not damage anything it's not like with aeg where the gears or the shell could be damaged. Even on novritschs site you can buy up to 220mm springs
