My son passed away Oct 15, 2021 at 21 years of age. I chose the peace prayer to be included opposite his picture as he loved St. Francis. I thank God for the 21 years I had with him and I offer my pain up to join with Christ's Passion. Mother Mary I weep with you but I will not lose hope, with the strength of the Holy Trinity and your help Good Loving Mother. God Bless the world, let the illumination come in God's time so hearts may know and love Jesus and be opened to the Holy Spirit. God's will be done! MJ MamaJ, my own dear husband passed away the very next day so, I feel ur loss… 🙏 I pray that God will continue helping us both deal w/our feelings of loss & sadness in losing a person so dear & so very important in our lives. Without my precious husband here…. feelings of loneliness & despair sometimes just overwhelm me & I struggle w/depression & try to pray & trust in God more. I KNOW, in my mind, that God IS w/me, but, I’m having trouble w/my feelings of depression. I ask for prayers in helping me overcome these all too human emotions. I was so excited when a neighbor asked if I wanted her St. Francis garden statue. I planted a flower garden around it. It is located abreast an outside table where my neighbors, mostly lapsed Catholics, come over to sit & visit. I feed the deer and foxes who eat 10' from where we sit. Ihave started praying to St. Francis to touch my wayward neighbors'hearts and bring them back home. And then, while doing chores, your St. Francis talk came up. Yes, our faith is so amazing & beautiful.

My father was killed in a work accident when he was 41....I was 17. We were a Catholic family..mom, dad, and 7 kids all from the same mom and dad. Mass every Sunday, we all made our sacraments (seemed like we went to confession weekly..ha)...but we never talked about our faith at home, and the Catechism classes weren't that much better! Anyway...my dad was born on Oct.4th and his name was Paul Francis. I decided at age 50 to learn why we do, and why we believe what we do as Catholics. I just realized a year ago, at age 59, why my dads middle name is Francis! I feel blessed to have figured that out, and a kind of sadness that no one ever told us. I should mention that my mom was a convert (which I didnt know until after her death) and she also died relatively young (55). St. Francis, please let my dad know that I figured out that he is your name sake, and that I love him! Also, if you could intercede for me and ask Jesus to please be with me, and allow my dad to watch over me...as I am going through a very difficult time right now! 💠

Thank you so much Fr. Chris for sharing to us the heroic life of St. Francis of Assisi. It reminds me of stripping myself more of earthly belongings and worldly attachments that I don’t really need anymore, such as books and household articles. God is everything, what more do I need. He can fill me with Himself only when I’m empty of many things that hinder my union with Him. Jesus is the only happiness my heart desires. In many ways, He manifested His love and mercy in my life, the reason I can’t refuse Him anything He ask from me. In all humility, I go down on my knees and acknowledge my nothingness before my loving and merciful Jesus, the Living Divine Mercy. God bless us all.

Im starting to think God puts the same divine inspirations in all his people but we carry out his will in different ways. I just picked up a book on St. Francis this week, and Father comes out with a talk about St. Francis today! Coincidences are just a regular part of the catholic life. God bless you Father Chris! Amazing talk! Thank you Fr Chris. Learned a lot again from you today. In the building that I work is St Francis-inspired. In front is a HUGE statue of St Francis & in the back building is the Tau cross. I see his statue everyday when I come in & when I leave work & talk to him &sometimes take selfies w/him, my Jehovah Wit coworker says I’m crazy😆… oh well. I really liked your seminary class about St. Francis. He's a good example of how we can all learn from saints no matter how many years/centuries ago they have passed away. It's understandable how you wouldn't be able to also talk about St. Therese of Lisieux, because of how much there was to talk about St. Francis. I hope that you get into talking more on the lives of the saints.

@@mekaqb6605 Thank you, MEKA QB, it is really appreciated. I have to get sprayed for the precautionary of bedbugs. The apartments beside me have bedbugs. Even though I don't have bedbugs and my apartment is a precautionary spray the stuff gets all over the place and when I return to the apartment six hours after being sprayed I have to clean most of the chemical from counters, furniture etc. I have mostly everything packed up that I don't want the chemical to land on. It's a bit of work. What I hate most about the chemical is that it clings to everything until it get washed off.

I guess we have to keep our eyes on the big picture and say, Jesus I trust in you. I say this many times a day when I feel myself breaking down. 🙏🏼🥰😇

@@mekaqb6605 When dealing with cockroaches or even bedbugs there are two essential oils that they hate. Those two oils are Eucalyptus oil and Peppermint oil. In my opinion get them both in the bigger bottle because even though you use these oils by drops the bigger bottles (118 ml) will last longer. When I first dust my furniture I fill an all purpose spray bottle with water, a little vinegar and 10 drops of each of those essential oils. When i wipe up my floor i use the same combination but with hot water from the tap, a little vinegar and 20 drops each of the essential oils in your bucket. When purchasing these two oils in the 118ml sized bottle it might seem very expensive but the last time I bought a big bottle of both was in Oct. of 2020 and I have only half a bottle of each. The best type of store to purchase the essential oils is a health food store because that's where you can purchase the bigger bottles for a much longer supply. When you see a cockroach and you have that solution in your spray bottle then grab the bottle, find the cockroach and spray it on the bug because they die instantly. One of the best prayers that I like to pray when frustrated is called "Be At Peace" by St. Francis de Sales.

You may already know this by now… your text is 10 months old. If you are interested in the Catholic faith, go to a Catholic Church and enter into the RCIA classes. They are about 5 to 6 months long and take it step-by-step. Do not be discouraged , because there is no fast track. It is a journey.🙏🏻❤️

I hear a lot about St. Francis, but never his story and just how much of a difference he made for the time. It’s always nice to hear the lives of saints, both the good and bad. And I see you also know Trent Horn’s thoughts and evidence on the St. Francis quote, from reading his book perhaps? 😉 Either way, I approve! During my Confirmation, the Arch Bishop was in the middle of confirming me to St. Francis of Assisi. I had to quickly whisper “no! Francis de Sales!” So he quickly recrossed my head to the correct Francis 😂 so I think of Assisi as my quarter Confirmation Saint. He’s a cool dude, so I don’t mind. Thanks not only for a thorough, knowledgable presentation of St. Francis and items like religious garb, but your little stories and those of the other Marians. Poor Cameraman Jesepi (?) 😅, but glad to see y’all get along great! Also, momma deer totally needs a name 🦌 (I know this is a buck 😅) and a weekly update. Praying for you and the other Marians as always! 🙏

23:04 mother Angelica would have been my patron saint in June at my confirmation but she wasn't canonized yet so I couldn't but she is the one who got me to return to the Catholic sacraments in these ending times 💯🙏🥰 I think I'm going to end up watching this one over and over too like the advent one I've listened to 15 times 😂

The nail went through the base of the thumb at 45 degree and came out through the wrist. This is the most painful torture on the hand and the most sturdy position so the hand won’t tear from the weight of the Body. This is shown on the Shroud of Turin .

A blessed day to u Father Chris and the rest of ur group..just finish watching ur talk about St. Francis and i thank u so much that i learned a lot about St Francis..i have a son named Francis he was born oct 4, 2000 ..one of my sister in Christ gave that name to him cos we cant think of appropriate name for him..i didnt even know who is St Francis that time..all i knew is he is the patron saint of animals..lately i also knew that he got stigmata like Padre Pio..but after hearing ur whloe talk about St Francis its now clear to me and i can share it to my son cos he dont even know why he named Francis..dont u know that i am taking notes while watching ur talk? 😊😊 I learned a lot from you Father Chris..I pray to God that all of there in ur ministry will always be safe and healthy so u can give more talks about God..thank u and God bless u all..
