People have been complaining about the length?! It’s a full educational lecture for free. It’s an incredible gift! Keep the lectures 1 - 1.5 hours Chris! They’re amazing!! ❤
As an adult convert I can’t tell you how helpful and educational these videos have been! Sometimes I feel so out of my depth because there is SO MUCH to learn about the Catholic faith. I’m grateful for you! God bless you Father Chris!
I just found you Father, I am a Traditional Mass Catholic and I loved Parts 1 and 2 explanations. I am going to listen to each of them once more. Please continue to provide us with your knowledge. Many of us are so grateful. Thank you.
I was so excited when a neighbor asked if I wanted her St. Francis garden statue. I planted a flower garden around it. It is located abreast an outside table where my neighbors, mostly lapsed Catholics, come over to sit & visit. I feed the deer and foxes who eat 10' from where we sit. Ihave started praying to St. Francis to touch my wayward neighbors'hearts and bring them back home. And then, while doing chores, your St. Francis talk came up. Yes, our faith is so amazing & beautiful.
My father was killed in a work accident when he was 41....I was 17. We were a Catholic family..mom, dad, and 7 kids all from the same mom and dad. Mass every Sunday, we all made our sacraments (seemed like we went to confession weekly..ha)...but we never talked about our faith at home, and the Catechism classes weren't that much better! Anyway...my dad was born on Oct.4th and his name was Paul Francis. I decided at age 50 to learn why we do, and why we believe what we do as Catholics. I just realized a year ago, at age 59, why my dads middle name is Francis! I feel blessed to have figured that out, and a kind of sadness that no one ever told us. I should mention that my mom was a convert (which I didnt know until after her death) and she also died relatively young (55). St. Francis, please let my dad know that I figured out that he is your name sake, and that I love him! Also, if you could intercede for me and ask Jesus to please be with me, and allow my dad to watch over me...as I am going through a very difficult time right now! 💠
Father Chris, thank you for this beautiful talk talk on St Francis. You make the story so interesting. Everybody in the family is listening. May God heal your family 🙏
I must say I love going to seminary with you-I have learned so much about our Catholic faith, so much so that Saturday mornings are reserved for listening to my next lecture-thank you for all that you do to spread GOD’s Word
Thank you Father. Chris for this amazing talk! We (my family) always look forward to your talks! We always learn something new everytime. Continue having your lectures 1.5 hours long! God bless you Father Chris and Divine Mercy team!❤🙏✝️
Thank you Fr Chris for another free Seminary class. St Francis of Assisi one of my favorite Saints. Pray for us. Love your story about Carol and the fox. Never tired listening to your hilarious stories. You are God sent from heaven. Praying for Mrs Alar your Dad and Pam. Thank you Br Mark for your technical expertise. God bless everyone ❤️🙏
Thanks father Chris Alar for sharing your thoughts and prayers for us.May God bless you and all our Catholic evangelist for the job well done. Please remember my family in Australia in your PRAYERS.
Thank you so much Fr. Chris for sharing to us the heroic life of St. Francis of Assisi. It reminds me of stripping myself more of earthly belongings and worldly attachments that I don’t really need anymore, such as books and household articles. God is everything, what more do I need. He can fill me with Himself only when I’m empty of many things that hinder my union with Him. Jesus is the only happiness my heart desires. In many ways, He manifested His love and mercy in my life, the reason I can’t refuse Him anything He ask from me. In all humility, I go down on my knees and acknowledge my nothingness before my loving and merciful Jesus, the Living Divine Mercy. God bless us all.
Listen in at 52:38. The passion and exuberance in Father Alar's voice can barely be contained or disguised as he articulates the miracles of this saint!!!😇 Father Chris: you're THE REAL DEAL!!! No wonder this has become my favourite Channel within less than two weeks!!!🥰 Blessings to you and all the faithful. Velox Versutus Vigilans
Watching from the Philippines. I am grateful to Franciscan Mission Service for giving me the opportunity to serve in overseas. Part of my lifelong mission is advocating Natural Farming and planting of banyan trees for climate change mitigation.
I wish all the priest like you father Chris ,, you explained everything about our Catholic Faith ,, thank you so much coz we have a priest like you .....
Father Chris, I don't care how long your conferences are. They are educational and are for the attainment of knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to teach us all. All of your conferences are immensely valuable to all of the Laity.
Im starting to think God puts the same divine inspirations in all his people but we carry out his will in different ways. I just picked up a book on St. Francis this week, and Father comes out with a talk about St. Francis today! Coincidences are just a regular part of the catholic life. God bless you Father Chris! I offer up my daily rosary for you!
Indeed we have to pray for the church and our Priests ...the devil prowls trying to tempt them...prayers for Fr. Chris are a welcome thing and i believe are received happily by God...🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌍🌍🌍
That is interesting. God speaks to us in different ways. I just watched the St Francis movie days back and had no idea the feast day is coming soon, and then I watched this too :)
April 20, 2023 Thursday 😊 my background for today's work ❤ ❤ God bless you Fr. Chris... Watching from Dammam Saudi Arabia (OFW) I am really from Philippines ❤❤❤
Amazing talk! Thank you Fr Chris. Learned a lot again from you today. In the building that I work is St Francis-inspired. In front is a HUGE statue of St Francis & in the back building is the Tau cross. I see his statue everyday when I come in & when I leave work & talk to him &sometimes take selfies w/him, my Jehovah Wit coworker says I’m crazy😆… oh well. So honored to be in your “seminary”class again today. God bless you.
Thank you Father! For such a great and beloved saint, I didn’t know that St. Francis was so relatable is some way to a lot of us… ❤️✝️❤️ St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!
Thanks for your talk on St Francis, Father Chris. I watched this already once or twice, but I had to watch it again and take notes. As a Non-Catholic, who is interested in becoming Catholic, I love learning about the Saints-- especially St. Francis (and St. Padre Pio), as the Lord has shown me that these are among my "main" patron saints. God bless you. May the Lord bless and keep you; may He shine His face upon you; and may He bring you peace.
Thanks again, Father! Wonderful teaching! Prayers 🙏🏼 As a kid, I always wished I could talk with the animals like St. Francis. I talk to my dog every day. He’s a good listener. 😆♥️
Great job Fr. Chris! Thank you for these pearls of knowledge you’re sharing with us. It makes us understand more about our faith and love God more. He has truly made you a channel of peace!
Thank you so much for these online explaining the faith videos. I'm a busy mom and I watch them all but never live. I'm eternally grateful. My 9 year old son watched the story you told about the flying monk and loved it!.God bless you.

I need this type of lecture in my life. Short little lectures are easier to fit in my schedule but you get me so engaged that I forget how long it really is.lol What a blessing to be able to listen to you. You are our modern day St Francis repairing our church!
How Beautiful. Loved it. Thank you. I love to listen to your teaching. I'm not Catholic yet, but I'm trying to learn as much as I can so again thank you.
You may already know this by now… your text is 10 months old. If you are interested in the Catholic faith, go to a Catholic Church and enter into the RCIA classes. They are about 5 to 6 months long and take it step-by-step. Do not be discouraged , because there is no fast track. It is a journey.🙏🏻❤️
Thank you Fr. Chris... It was filled with knowledge about St. Francis of Assisi and the short stories and your reflection in life was so touching. Feel blessed to subscribe this channel..Pray for your Marian congregation 🙏👏🤗💯
Dear Father Chris thank you so much for this wonderful talk about St Francis. I love listening to you and have learned so much about my Catholic Faith. I pray for you and your family. I am sure that your heart is full of love ❤️❤️❤️❤️Many thanks ❤️❤️❤️
Fr. Criss Almighty God bless you abundantly for all the effort you are making to explain the Catholic faith. I was bought up as a Catholic but stopped following the obvious teachings because I had no knowledge of the deeper beliefs held by the Catholic church. Your lectures have enlightened me and now I feel compelled to come back home.Pleace don't give up for any reason.
Thank you Fr.. Chris, I'm in the process of become a Marian Helper, I love your seminaries I always share them w/ friends and family, I have learn a lot w/ your teachings, I'm also grateful for E.W.T.N. Hank God for you all.p
I really liked your seminary class about St. Francis. He's a good example of how we can all learn from saints no matter how many years/centuries ago they have passed away. It's understandable how you wouldn't be able to also talk about St. Therese of Lisieux, because of how much there was to talk about St. Francis. I hope that you get into talking more on the lives of the saints.
Used to hear this song a lot back home ( Philippines ) in church, university , radio etc....Thanks for this reminder, been awhile, touched me to the core:)
I love all your talks Fr. Chris. I listen to them whenever I'm free. I shared them to my fb friends. I learned many things in all your talks. That's why I never stop learning at 74.
