ST Model - Arcus M Powered Glider - Unboxing
This package came with lots of damage, and I was nervous about how extensive it would be, so I had to get it opened right away.
Looks pretty awesome! Can't build it now, since it's late, but couldn't resist sharing.
P.S. Hobbyking sucks! Just wasted OVER an hour with CS trying to get them to ship parts they shorted me. They do nothing but lie, then lie some more. I can't tell if it's worth continuing my relationship with them.

There was inventory at "Verspaget Modelbouw Eindhoven" in the Netherlands. Now the model is heading to Japan. I will set up while watching your toutube. I am equipped with a 2-axis gyroscope with GPS as it is my first flight. But when I was young I flew in the sky with Soarer.

it's a good plane, the sequencer means the retracting prop doesn't need an extra channel or an extra mix. don't worry about the wings flexing when you fly her. they all do . just like the full sized aircraft it's a scale replica of. Fly it big standard unmodified exactly as speced on the box before you're tempted to modify it. You'll be pleasantly surprised how well it flies. happy thermal hunting!!!

YEAH, I heard, but good luck getting the FAA to take down the web page, OR EVEN MAKE MENTION of the fact that their new LAW is TOTALLY ILLEGAL, which is what guys like me have been saying since day one, while the AMA was sucking straight off the FAA's tit; DISGUSTING!!! I HATE THE AMA because of their totally WEAK position on the illegal drone registry (and many of their adult children who like to come onto my page and start ridiculous arguments over opinions...)

Thanks Brian interesting video. Not a very impressive design imo. Wasted servo on a prop retract of questionable value. Why not just place a permanent rear prop mount on the bird. I want have ready access to thrust while in the air. Would love to see how it performs in the air-particularly the prop retract.

I watched it. Yeah, I have another ST model, the cheap, crappy ASW28, which I'm trying to make work. My friend gave up on it, so I talked him into giving it to me in stead of throwing it away. I've already fixed several issues, not the least of which is the wing buffeting with not-too-fast flight speed.

I just got this ASW 28 from my friend. It was a turd, but now that it's mine, I've spent the last few nights getting her fixed up. She's getting very nice, but loads of work. This "new to me" ASW 28 is made by ST Model (available at Tower Hobbies), but it's still a far cry from the Volantex ASW 28, which was also a "project plane", but a huge and awesome one!!! I will probably replace the ASW 28 at some point too, but I just got the plane from THIS video on Monday, so I'll be taking on that project after my adopted "crappy" ASW28. I'll post a video showcasing my "repairs and mods" after the fact, before a flight demo.
