I just find it kinda sad that no one remembers this game, I mean after listening to the OST, its actually really good for a baseball game. I played this game a lot when I was younger and it would be really cool to see it come back but if it did I know it wouldn't be the same... Anyway this staff credits song is also amazing with the characters just grunting half the time.
@@thisemptyworm4677 DEFINITELY. People sleep on this game waaaaaaay too much. One of the Mario Sports titles, shrugged off as nothing more than a simple baseball game. We need a new game in this series.
Definitely doesn't help that this game was never released in Europe and Australia. I know baseball is not that big a thing there, but it probably contributes to the general forgotten-ness this game seems to carry with it.
I love this game so much! My siblings and I would play through the story mode over and over again. Definitely my favorite Mario sports game, and I hope we get a Switch Mario baseball game soon!

I remember a time back in 2016 when me my brother and my uncle Bedsmith were playing baseball in his backyard and singing this song together until I accidentally swung the bat too hard and he got knocked out. Our aunt had to help pick him up and take him inside with our cousin named Because I Don't.
1:13 - 1:26 definitely caught me off-guard in the best of ways. It's so rare those kinds of guitar riffs appear in Mario games and being reminded of this track makes me wish that wasn't the case. In general, this whole song makes me wish for a more rock-based Mario OST.
God damn I don’t remember this game since I was young but I do remember I played this with my older sister and she would always beat me since I didn’t know how to play but I remember just going into the cutscene mode thing and just listening to this song over and over
