The bloodsucker attacks exactly like in my fears, in the trilogy it was super visible and they did not pose a particular threat, but here it’s just some kind of killer, I’m scared
Wish the interviewer was either someone who knew the series, or at least did his homework prior to interviewing. Not knowing what a bloodsucker was in front of a dev is just amateurish and kinda disrespectful.
@@SinOfAugust Amateur-ish? Perhaps. Disrespectful? Not in the slightest. Think: This guy inteviews game developers for a living. Especially at a major gaming event like the gamescom, that might be hundreds of games he has to get at least superficially familiar with. Considering this, even if he was more familiar with STALKER, I'd cut him some slack if he didn't know what a specific mutant type is called. It's obvious he doesn't know much about the game, but that doesn't matter in the slightest: He's a big fan of the mutant design regardless. Consider that to be the opinion of somebody who's never played the STALKER games, who just went into the Zone with fresh eyes. You can treat him as part of the new generation of STALKER players, some of which might not even have been born when the OG titles were released. 15 years since the last title is one helluva long time. So please. Don't be an elitist.

The amount of popularity stalker is gaining might backfire considering most fps audience do not have the patience and mind to play this game's playstyle. Many would just rush in get killed and blame it on the game for being buggy mechanically

if they try to please everyone, they are gonna please nobody, stalker is made to please hardcore fps survival player, thats why it has a HUGE community , stalker doesnt try to accomodate to anyone but its own philosophy
Huge fan of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. since 2007, and Heart of Chornobyl actually looks exciting! (unlike some other gameplay teasers we've seen at gamescom 2024, Star Wars Outlaws I'm looking at you...)
One of my favorite things from this demo, is that there are more engravings and mosaics from the USSR than there were in the original stalker games. This game is really setting it up to look and FEEL more like Chornobyl

@@Mr.LeoNovI'm 100% sure that all the modders working on Anonaly are already learning Unreal Engine to start working on the new version of it right after Stalker 2 is released. They will surely work in overdrive to deliver as soon as possible
So far i've not liked the new appearance of breakable boxes, both the ammo version and the "regular" wooden one looks far too sturdy. In the original trilogy they looked very fragile.
