I just wanna let ya'll know the original clip of this is 4 fcking mins YES miss Lily went down the stairs longer than Adele's song Easy on Me only a Baddie Queen can do that 😎💅
i saw someone in another one of these videos say that philippines have mastered the art of spanish and asian telenovelas because of their history 💀 and honestly i agree
A bit of context for this scene: This was after she was presumably dead after being buried in a grave ALIVE, by the same people who were shocked to see her. That’s what makes this entrance better
I remember how I was soo hyped for Ivy during this scene, I was literally jumping in joy. I also remember how short each episode is and how much advertisement they would try to pack in between each scene. Then they would literally keep you hanging each day and make you wait for one particular scene that they keep teasing in the "abangan" part. 💀💀💀
I'm from Malaysia and i can honestly say that when it comes to being extra dramatic, filipino and indonesian dramas takes the cherry on top when it comes to south east asian tv dramas. They're made of the same type of legendary stuff like one of those crazy indian tv shows 🤣🤣🤣
I was around 10-11 when I watched this before, and I was so impressed at this scene. And watching it now, I just realized it's actually so extra ans dramatic. 😭😭 But somehow this scene is still iconic tho imo
Context and Spoilers: The girl who walked down the stairs is Lily Cruz. The people who we're shocked killed Lily's father and ordered someone to rape her mother. Those people are the Ardiente family, an evil political dynasty who rules the town of Poblacion Ardiente. Someone adopted Lily and gave her a new identity as "Ivy Aguas". Years later, she came back to the town where her family was destroyed to seek justice/revenge on the people who cause those. The Ardientes doesn't know Ivy is Lily, so she secretly destroys the Ardientes one by one. The Ardientes find out that she's an enemy so they buried her alive. Everyone thought she was dead. Which bring us back to the video, she finally revealed that she's alive but not as Ivy Aguas, she's alive as Lily Cruz this time. (There's a lot of sideplots and arcs on this series so I only spoiled about half of the show.)
The music and the plots in this show remind me sooo much of Indian tv shows. I just can’t help but notice the similarities. They’re always so drama filled, a lot of times really unrealistic but good 😌
@@kanishkaxagarwal I did but never saw this kind of entry, it's mostly showing the feet, the hands, the eyes and everyone's expressions and then show the face in the next episode. No firecrackers or gowns with trails
It's like combining an indian overhyped effects, the typical spanish plot telenovela and the asian super dramatic background music. It's honestly hilarious rather than intense. I'm very interested to watch this. 😂
Idk how this is so funny but so epic at the same time my ass was literally quaking when she turned up like this and I'm not even that invested in this show
LMAO watching it now makes me realize how extra and dramatic this scene was cus back in the days i was watching this being aired, i was so hyped like "go get them lily" but then the scene suddenly cuts into commercials
I can tell this chick is a bad bish! She came with the hair, the beauty, the confidence, and the man power (quite literally). She's like im getting all of you raggedy people together.
This show was so epic back then and it hyped many viewers in the Philippines and rn it's just so funny that you guys watched this out of context😭 saying its funny but for us its legendary back then.
The smoke, the zooms, the music, the explosions, the look of the girl, the other people surprised by her appearance, everything is so extravagant haha. I think that entrance is to show off that dress... What a tense and elegant situation haha.
This reminds me of a Brazilian telenovela, the other side of paradise (title inspired by this side of paradise and story by the count of Monte Cristo). Clara (the protagonist) is put in a hospice and they try to kill her. After they thought she was dead, she comes back in a luxurious dress during a gala, walking down the stairs, appearing in front of the woman that tried to kill her, but now being a millionaire. That story is simply fantastic. Now it makes me wanna watch this one too! Hahaha
this is india and latin america but make it a chaebol storyline but also crazier, i am living this is so extra even the indian serials haventt gone this far. girl came looking like Beyoncé on her concert opening and went down the stairs for 5 minutes with fire works and gun men behind her how much more extra could a person be?
well here is the story.....she was buried but she has a phone that she was abled to call diego (side note....it was emilia who gave her that phone to see if she was dead) and then diego and the uncle found the casket with her alive. Then we are now in the over the top entrance for round 2.
I never liked this show but I never hated it either. The level of ridiculousness of this show made it so funny that I couldn't take it seriously. The producers even said that this show was never meant to be taken seriously but my mom and aunts were seriously addicted to it. It's funny watching their reactions while they're watching this TV series.
Omg, rewatching this scene just made realized how it's so DAMN EXTRA. The absurdity of the drama, the baddie energy, the yassification -- all in clip, is making me shit on myself rn😭💅
I know these Pinoy dramas but after watching clips of Indian dramas I was half expecting the screen to shatter and additional transition effects to show up.
Pinnoy TV really mixed the best of South America Telenovelas and Asian dramas. The Power of IT all. This is how I want to make my entrance, at the next family gathering.
I remember when I was 10, I was making a bridge in the ravine in Minecraft till I saw this one on tv and I was like, WOW, it's like I've watched the best tv show in history.
This is a real series, and so many of us were literally shook by this scene. It ended up being one of the most iconic scenes in filipino teleserye history 😭
You have to understand that Filipino melodrama series are very much influenced my Spanish, Mexican and other Asian melodramas so this is commonplace. But also the build up to this scene throughout the whole series didn't make this scene feel comedic. It is over the top but it was received as exciting and amazing because of the plot.
@@hugo6390 not as big as this, it's just this grand because the rags to riches protagonist pretended she died but she didn't and the antagonist are a wealthy political dynasty.
"So, before I resurrect and show up to my enemy's party, I want you to set up some sparklers by the stairs. I need a shiny gown to match the sparkles. Oh, and don't forget to hire four men to hold rifles and walk with me. I'm gonna slay the party figuratively and literally."
