I just watched your show in Sydney a week ago and it was one if the best nights of my life! You are so funny! Thanks for making the world so much better!
Hee hee hee. Love it. Especially those darn secret Melbourne special how the fk do I find it and its so tiny I can't stand up in it and I might just suffocate with the amount of people crammed in but boy I must be uber trendy to be here anyway- bars .
Nailed Melbourne. Lived there for 20 years. Might have mentioned the 14,000 layers of clothing needed even at the height of Summer. Odds on Melbournites will be waiting for Sydney's to be longer.
Wow, I didn't know Melbourne was that organic ?, I'm in Brisbane & I don't mind saying I have quite a few of those items in my home, but not a rucksack that's a bit weird even to me. If I had to list somethings that are a staple in most houses Qld households, bug repellent, sun tan goo, & cask wine, although that last one could cover any type of wine, beer or spirits. Great start to what looks like an epic series.
I can’t wait for Adelaide! Even though I live in Melbourne now but still love taking the piss out of Victorians as they’ve always done to us. 😅 Brilliant Jimmy but you forgot visits to the Bo Bo clinic for trout pout.
@Fiona Em Stereotypes much 😉 You might be surprised by the Outer Melburnians' shop ↔ wine subscription, soy milk, kombucha sold in Shell servos, VIP Savers in every postcode, ditto Premium ASOS, Crocs, earrings, beards and mullets. I'll give you the Inner Northern houseparty, the underground jazz bar, the Tan Run and maybe the Craft Beer. But you will find Instant Coffee in Brunswick, Bathurst fans in Richmond and Kiss cover bands in St Kilda. We Melburnians are one, but we are many ....... 🍻🎺🏃
Looking forward to Perth, mask, proof of vaccination, rat, hand sanitizer, thongs, sunnies, sunscreen……. Can’t wait to see the show on 1st May 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Well, us Melbournians have come a far way… if I remember “Kath and Kim” from over 20 years ago correctly, the Melbourne (at least suburban Melbourne) culture was a bit different
@@mr.jamster8414 have you watched Kath & Kim? It was a to show in the nineties and noughts about Melbourne’s suburban middle class culture. No coffee (or otherwise) snobs there!
Wine subscription, check. Soy milk, check. Lactose free dairy milk, check. Coconut milk, check. Newsletter from that small jazz club, check. Organic coffee beans, check. Keep cup that has never ventured outside our house, check…
pretty similar tbh. great wine, great gin, great cheese, great produce.... all the good food is from South Australia, even homebrand stuff from Foodland is heaps better than Woolies/Coles. oh, plus a "what school did you go to" event. ha!
oh I think they had more boutiques, but since when is consumerism something to rave about?? that's the part i never understood. since the internet took over I dont' think it's a drawcard anymore.
Melbourne born & bred but now live in Canberra…it’s startling and hilarious in equal proportions how accurate the Melbourne & Canberra shopping carts are…now, where are my Birks so I can go get some more gin to have with my Canberra weed…
You’re so original bro!! Never thought In a million years doing something like that as a RU-vidr!! 😂lYou also remind me so much of carol beer From Little Britain!! Computer says no!!😃
Do Toowoomba, I just moved here from Sydney, I know nothing about the place and some how I feel like this is a guide to what I need to know 🤣. I also need an explanation as to why everything that is on sale at colse and woolies any where in Toowoomba is not on the shelf. All you can see is a yellow tag telling you the great price and an empty shelf. 🤦♀️
@Dorothy Wagner The Toowoomba locals are faassstttt🏃! Maybe they buy in bulk (for home, work or club). And maybe they are small grocery retailers sourcing stock under their normal wholesale price ?!?
