Star Citizen Ship Showcase - The Prowler Deserves More Love 

Now if they could rip out the jump seats and put some living quarters in there, I'd make this my daily driver.

One thing in concept that I think at this point they've completely scrapped is that this ship was meant to be able to extend shields to cover ground forces leaving the ship, which would make it an ideal ship for something like Jumptown - stealth your way to the location, shoot down resisting targets and then turn the shields into a small fortress to cover the marines jumping out of your ship. Now its just a heavily overpriced kind of slow heavy fighter.

I love the Prowler but I think it is overlooked due to many of its advertised features not being present, its price point and the inevitable comparison to the Valkyrie.

At it's price, don't even think I would notice the prowler even for looks. Not with a Valkyrie with vehicle capacity or the over buffed hull HP Cutlass steel if I want a drop ship. And for a lot less.

Nice man. I’m with ya on how sexy the prowler is. I didn’t know the pilot got 2 S5s and 2 S3s. Thats a TON of firepower. But being a drop ship i agree it doesn’t need missiles.

I fly a DUR, not terribly good right now but when it gets it's HYD refinery it should be able to go on nearly forever, making it imo one of the better solo explorer out there.

Did they actually fix the old bug on the Prowler's turret/copilot seat? It used to be that the copilot got control of the Size 5 wing guns, instead of the turret.

Love the look of this ship, love the law and what it could end up being... hate the price.

Most of the time you have no pips on the Prowler, and have to keep destroying/reclaiming the ship and hope they appear. Its unflyable in combat otherwise, and no sign the bug will be addressed anytime soon. As with all alien ships, CIG can't be arsed to fix them.

Great video! Love the look of the prowler and its firepower, but I simply can’t justify $440 for a drop ship that can’t carry a vehicle. I hate the alien tax and drop ship tax, but both combined is just straight up stupid.

is the copilot seat still bugged where they end up taking control of flight and bigger guns? that aggravated me so much
