Thanks for the video. Chicago is in a tough position. It seems like there will be at least 2 but maybe 4 stud QBs coming into the draft. And a bunch of stud receivers. If they miss out on both, it will be embarrassing.

I like that you highlighted his long release, but you didn't touch on his mechanics. Happy feet/he drifts himself into sacks/he can make a deep throw but he can't hit a simple swing route to a back/he's 50/50. His final 2 games had to be 2 of his worst. Also, nobody seems to address Maye the reckless runner. The end of the vid shows him landing on his head bc he decided to jump in the air again. Love the work tho'.

Your looking at him throw in college against college dbs I don’t see him doing as well against nfl talent. Reminds me of Carson Palmer

Damn it. I was a Maye guy to start but started coming around on Caleb. Now you got me wanting Maye again. Dream scenario, bears trade down to two. Getting their second back and take Maye there, while Nabers or Odunza are still there at nine then finally with getting their second back and getting at least a second for Fields, they take the center from WV cause the one from Oregon is already gone, with that second then add another DE or WR with their other second round pick.

Mitchell Trubisky had very similar highlights and hype. I do think he’s a better version of Trubisky (maybe even Howell) but we’re not talking world beating talent. We won’t know for sure until he’s drafted. If he ends up with a situation with like a Purdy he could excel but he’ll need weapons

Im going to say this since people dont have their own opinions anymore. Without the media, twitter, Instagram etc. You went out an scouted these guys you'd say wow Caleb williams made fantastic throws and magic BUT he didnt need to. He got nervous under ACC pressure constantly and struggle to throw into thight windows. Which in the nfl those levels of players you have to create those windows . Caleb Williams wouldnt even be in the top 10 conversation especially with that attitude vs Spencer Rattler No oline always made the throws at every level, mobile but doesnt just tuck and run for no reason. high character and locker room guy after being a little shit. Same knocks on him as C.J Stroud.. Definitely top 5 pick and you can go ahead and do this with Maye hes accurate but when he isnt boy he would throw many, many, many picks in the nfl a josh allen type turning the ball over constantly wont amount to anything in the league. Yes you can be flashy but like Brady said if you see your guy in double coverage and yoy can make that big play maybe it gets picked maybe it doesn't but why not check it down for 10 and keep taking yards. Brady career in a nutshell and patrick mahomes this last Superbowl. Now Daniels amazing athlete, average arm puts the ball on the money deep and mid range but when it comes to short range its not the best boardline atrocious. But he reads defense really well which is a shock moving safety's with his eyes and almost never stares down one or two receivers. The most starts in with different teams and offense in the draft so he has a good track record and experience which is crucial. People need to learn to do their own eye test.

He's been my QB1 whole time. But it doesn't matter cause the media and chicago fans already expecting them to take Williams. I keep comparing him to Justin Herbert body with an Eli Manning throwing style/ball arc. I think Maye would do better in chicago than williams cause williams biggest issue I see is his scrambling. He isnt elusive and moves as slow as Daniel Jones while rolling out and will get sacked alot for it especially in Chicago. Maye can go downhill unlike Williams and that alone would help with some of the O-line issues. The saving grace of Williams tho is he does have the arm talent and my comp for him is Andrew Luck and if he would go to a team with a good O-line williams will look like Andrew Luck but in chicago he is destined to be fucked over (like all bears QBs) cause of the stadium being windy and the field being horrible and chicago's consistantly bad Oline. For some reason Maye keeps being talked about possibly falling down the board, as a Giants fan I would happily accept that but in reality I know that won't happen cause no shot he goes beyond pick 2 and if Jayden Daniels gets picked before him then they will regret it big time like Young and Stroud last year. (also jayden daniels isnt a top 5 pick he should go in top 20, he is far too risky to take early due to how he runs with the body type he has. I just get RG3 vibes from Daniels of him having a good start to career and then getting hurt and never being the same again. Obviously that's not garaunteed to happen but that risk is why I wouldn't invest a top 5 pick on him.
