That is such a cool ship! I really wish I could have gone to Star Tours because it looked like a blast. I actually really love that this looks like the ride with the seats and everything. I tend to agree on not having too many sounds on vehicles. I like lights, maybe engine noise, but overall I'd rather not have dialogue. But for this I think it's perfect having it.

Just checked my old eBay email and I bought this for $89.90 usd in May 2012.. Cost me $64 to ship to Australia... I guess it paid off.. Am yet to open it.

That's soo cool. It's almost a sin that Disney didn't make a starspeeder 3000 of the same scale. Also, you should get one of the dj-rex bluetooth speakers from droid depot to go along with that ship if you haven't already. Cheers.👍

Man I want one of these probably more then any other vehicle they've produced. I have a vintage Kenner Imperial Shuttle I'd be willing to swap for one of these if anyone seeing this is interested.

I've always wanted some of these & the blue ones for civilian transports. Never set aside any funds for it though. That was several years ago. They are rather too pricey now.

Check out the Star Tours figure multipacks! There's 'Star Tours Boarding Party' that has a "Star Tours Officer", and 'Star Tours Travel Agency' that has the new Rex with legs and the Signal Droid as well as other figures. There's also an 'Ambush at Star Tours' set with Vader as he appears during the ride!

I go to Disneyland every week. I use to see this vehicle All the time but purposely passed up on it. Once the sand crawler became available I got that. -The Disneyland neighbor

Great vid Only One! I see you did get yourself a Starspeeder! NICE! LOL. I'm guessing I wasn't the only person to tell you to pull the trigger on one of those. LOL. Glad to see you got one that was mostly intact. When I got mine (nearly three years ago now) it was the only loose one listed that wasn't missing at least two doors. Is the hatch just behind R2 still intact? (Mine the hinges were broken and super glued back together) and the little Prequel Trilogy style camera droid inside was missing (since replaced with a Phantom Menace camera droid from the blue Twi'lek senator. Same sculpt, different paint scheme). For comparison, when I bought mine, I got it loose on Ebay in 2019 for around $120 USD. (BTW, this was the ship I mentioned on your Royal Starship vid as having batteries so corroded that they looked like they were growing fuzz. Based on the trade marks, 8 years in Florida humidity with the demo batteries still in). Also glad you figured out the trick with closing the doors as I'm guessing that's why so many have broken doors from being forced closed. You mentioned the Star Tours vehicle maybe not being canon, it actually is! Since they appear taking off in the Smugglers Run ride (at the end just before you 'land') and Smugglers Run canonically happened between Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker. As for the time period of the ride itself, that's why they changed it from Starspeeder 3000 in the old ride to Starspeeder 1000, so it's and older model ship that was around during the prequels and is still around in the Sequels (and why RX-24 isn't there, since he was supposed to be brand new in the original ride). Congrats OOK, this ship looks brilliant. Impressive love the weapons that pop out at the front so cool. Love the lights real shame we didn't get lights in the Razor Crest. The Razor Crest with a cool blue led lights & interior lights would have been so cool. Missed opportunity I've seen alot of people putting their own in but I don't want to damage my Razor Crest by pulling it apart & cutting pieces off & drilling holes etc. I ordered that orange droid from Tunghori as well, along with a blue protocole droid that I want to use for a senate display with the blue senate guards. Also grabbed another Jabbas protocol droid to display with my Jabba when we get our throne room playsets! Was thinking a George Lucus figure would be perfect for your new ship his taking another Star tour! 😂 Awesome ship very cool looks well built as well. 😎👍
