Yeah, they didn't look at this, they glanced at a couple of spreadsheets and guessed by past trends that nobody watches season 6 of anything. Which, to be fair, makes them nearly twice as good as Disney execs.

Paramount: makes one of the most beloved and universally acclaimed pieces of Trek media in the last 2 decades. Even helped them ride out the actors’ strike given it was animation. Also paramount: Yeah, we should probably cancel this and make 5 more copy-and-paste crime dramas. Ooh, maybe one of the leads could be a single, divorced parent. There aren’t too many of those.

As someone who rarely comments on anything on YT. Adding in my small voice to say, these characters, this show, it's special and it's a shame this is the final season. This show is what really got me into Star Trek. From someone who'd only seen Discovery and the JJ movies, after watching Lower Decks last year I was infected with the same wonder and reverence the characters have for the franchise. I've now binged TNG, the TNG movies, have begun DS9 and seriously binged Voyager. This show is an amazing gateway/introduction to the hugely vast Star Trek lore. The creator, cast, crew and all else who made it happen deserve a lot of credit. Thank you for all the great times Lower Decks. Cerritos Strong. (To whoever cancelled the show, I offer Mariner's sarcastic Vulcan salute, "live long and prosper")

I love that they referenced this show in prodigy and it honestly deserves all the love. This show is written with so much dedication to the original shows and the jokes are contrary to a lot of modern shows on big platforms actually funny. Gotta say, its a huge W for star trek.

The opening DS9 VHS trailer reference reminds me so deeply of my childhood. The uncountable number of times I heard that narration and the TOS and TNG clips between it... "I'm beginning to think I can cure a rainy day." "That is by no means certain, Doctor." Each time I rewatch an episode that features one of those lines I think of that trailer. Deep nostalgia.

Remember when this first came out and everyone was like "This sucks! No one wants Family Guy/Rick and Morty Star Trek!" Funny how people's priorities change. In all seriousness, how about we get the show relocated to Netflix or Prime Video, give it a budget it can work with and a good emotional hook, MAKE TENDIFORD FACKING CANON ALREADY (Blu-ray commentary on S4E06 has suggested that McMahan, Wells, and Cordero aren't as against it on "not all close male-female bonds need to be romantic" principles as some interviews have suggested), and then, after all that, hashtag-Save-Star-Trek-Lower-Decks.
