Because, as you may not know, I am the actual editor on this piece. I don't plaster my name on any of my videos because it's very tacky. We make these for fans to enjoy. It takes a LONG TIME to put one together and the least we can get from it is the proper credit. I don't mind Harry sharing my stuff, but while he's "not taking credit for it" people are falsely seeing as his. That's just not cool. Like the comment from annafrancesca1.
I agree with you, Harry. I like many others sent you Star Trek videos for your You Tube site for others to enjoy. Then you get people like Llaaseil (Who doesn't know how to make a video or U/L one) complaining about something he doesn't know what he is talking about. Personally, I would block him and delete his hurtful comments.
Sorry if you are upset about this posting, but there are times I do not know who origionally made the videos that are sent to me (the sender or the original author). I will include the author if the sender will tell me who made it. I get videos from different sources and it seems that people do not use their real names here and also in other web sites. Please just enjoy the videos here for what they are, just something to enjoy.
@startrekisgood That's FUNNY. I laughed my head off to tears when the explosions started. I like both shows. OOOH uh oh. I see why huckbone is upset. I'd be too. I was giving you full credit. If you don't know the creator at least post at the start or end that you're not the creator and thank the unknown person. So ppl can thank you for the posting and if the true maker find out they don't feel ripped off.
I agree I've had to block many people who sent terrible and threatening comments. Some of these videos here, I donated also. I could care less if I get credit for any of them. Recently, I've had people claiming that the video, "My Turban is Dirty" was not entirely mine. I just tell them, why are there of pictures of me in the video. That usually shuts them up.
Look, Llaaseil isn't saying anything harmful. Believe me, some people are real A-Holes with their words. I don't know if you actually EDITED any of the pieces you posted, but that's the difference, I did. If you just found something cool on the web and posted it, that's one thing, but if you sat in that edit chair like I did for weeks making something fans might appreciate, and I hope you do, then yes, to get a little credit would be appreciated and respectful.
I will tell you (and others)that the video was given to me by another user (not Huckbone). Huckbone claimed that it was his and when I asked him for his real name he wrote me that his real name was Brian H. He didn't have the courage to tell me what his real name was. then he wrote to other users who made comments on this video that I was a thief. I will not put up with negative comments or negative users. Both of these two will be gone and hopefully, their accounts will be deleted.
OK, here's the deal. I just found that you are posting my video, and while I do appreciate the more people seeing this, the better; I worked a VERY LONG TIME on this to entertain people and fans. It is not about "making money" like one person commented. We make these to excite fans. I would appreciate that at the least, you re-list this video and credit my name to it or remove it altogether if you're not. It is dishonorable not to do so.
Why do you lie about Harry taking credit for these Star Trek videos? His name does not seem to appear on any videos I've seen here. He even left on the names of the people who donated them to him. No one on You Tube is making any money for them anyway. I think you need to chill and sit back and just enjoy them.
Harry, FYI. I tracked down jackSmith07's IP address. It is the same as Huckbone and NoLifeasAlways. So all 3 must be the same person under 3 different names. It really is a shame that some people have nothing better to do than be annoying pests.
Hey Harry, I see that you have that goofy Huckbone back again under his "alias". I hope you delete him soon. If you need help in finding his IP address, I know some people in management at You Tube that can find out quick. They can also delete his whole account for rude remarks like he has been leaving here about you.
