I still play it, even today. Empire at War is just such a great game and mods like this just make it even better and worth coming back to again and again.
Yeah, at this point I just auto resolve and pray when It comes to ground assaults. They need some serious attention, it's like night and day when you compare it to space.
What do you mean it's not the Liberation. They are ALL Liberations. We just let Kota choose whichever ship he wants at the time, and move everything there.
I watched the video of you and eckhart playing this yesterday on my lunch break, and it ruined the rest of my day. I just wanted to get home from work and download this mod. Which I did, and then played it from 6pm to 4:30am lol. I'm tired as shit today but it was totally worth it lol. Thanks for showing me so I could load up one of my favorite star wars games of all time but enjoy it on a whole new level :-)

I been playing this game on and off since release, felt like I was the only one to buy it back then, it was awesome because I got a mini death star figure that came with it, love the remake mod, I didn't realize new version came out and because of your video I'm going to check it out tomorrow 👍 Also I discovered the mod from your videos a while back, great content
You know what would be cool? Since you can see the side hanger doors for the Venator, what if that every time you lost a fighter squad and when they respawn, they animate the doors to open and you see fighters coming out of it. Something small yes but it’d still be cool
With all this great work on this game there can never be a new game of this and be as good as this game has become with the mods that it has. But still, we can only hope he.
Years ago I was going through RU-vid watching stargate space battles when I came across the stargate MOD for this game. That vid was yours. Have followed ever since. So please don't say how old the game is. I feel old now
So...I discovered this game about a year ago and put it on my laptop to play skirmishes when my ship was underway (Navy at the time, finishing out my last tour of my contract). The expansion wouldn't run on my laptop, but the base game did (now that I'm home and have a new desktop a friend helped me build, I'm downloading it again, watching some videos, etc)... ...so how does this moding business work? I have the Steam version of the game and am wondering if it'd be possible for me to play it, because those visuals look awesome. Does it actually alter the game mechanics? Does it make more than Rebel vs Empire possible? Change the number of AI players? Add generals/admirals? Make them play differently? So many questions, sorry for the question dump. :)
In the future, could you add a label that shows which version is on screen? I enjoy watching these videos, but I don't play this game, so without labels I couldn't tell what I was looking at on some of the clips, made worse by your inconsistency about which side you display each version on during side-by-side comparisons.
I think you should put a label on each bit of gameplay in this comparison or future ones so I can a tell a little bit easier which is which on my terrible laptop
Really wish they'd make a new, mission based X-Wing/TIE game. The last one was X-W: Alliance. Imagine that game remade in the FB engine? Just looking at the space part of BF2...it would be awesome

I had this mod when it was in it's early stages.It was a bit slow I thought maybe it's because it was incomplete.Still had a wonderful time playing it.I decided to wait for later versions in hopes to play with less lag then forgot about it.Last month I stumbled upon it again.Turns out my pc was shit.They improved it so much that my toaster pc couldn't handle the mod anymore LOL
ok i like to see how the ground units looking, dont get me wrong the ships and space stuff looks good but its not a game just about the ship game play, The ground battle and units are a part of the game and i wont lie i like mods that change up on how both the space and ground units and battles look.
The ground has not been really touched yet, this is an early development build that they released for the public to bug test. The ground is coming, they are focusing on space at the moment.
Remake version for the Rebel space station is pretty....but it got rid of a pretty unique station for a station (used by the Empire). Doesn't help that the Gateway station is pretty boring in design.
One thing I want to know about this mod at this point. Just one thing. Does it replace the original CR90 model with one that's actually properly proportioned?

Does the torpedoes bypass the shield of the ships like in the original? I ask because that was the only thing that annoyed me in the vanilla game. Just spam fighters and you can surely destroy a ship with no problem without sacrificing ships.
