Remember, my friends, no matter what Disney has done or will do with Star Wars into the future, they can never take away your memories. Hold on to that joy you once had as a kid. It's your Star Wars too! Never let them take that away from you 💪

Disney isn’t Star Wars. I simply refer to what they’re doing as “That Sci-Fi Knock-Off Show” they’re making. I refuse to acknowledge them any longer.

Grew up during the 70s and 80s and Star Wars was a big part of my life. Today I look at my collection and think back to a simpler time. Because of your channel I started filling in gaps of figures we didn’t have. Love the customs and love your content.

I like this positivity. There's been so much focus on 'new' star wars for so many years now and being a child of the 70s it's not for me but that's fine. For me the original trilogy means so much, but imo take what you want from that Universe and ignore the rest. Love the channel.

This is what I like about your channel: a good balance of what's awesome and not so awesome about the hobby and the community. I agree! I have met so many great, interesting, fun and even positive people through talking about my favorite hobbies, especially these great toys, most especially Star Wars. So many good collectors out there who enjoy sharing what they love about the movies, characters, actors, toys etc. So fun! The conventions are a lot of fun for me, in small doses as I get stressed by crowds and noise after a while. It's great to see the toys in person and to meet fellow enthusiasts, artists, collectors etc. I love talking online even more with this great community because I struggle with talking out loud in person with people. I'm much better at typing what I want to say. Yes, the customs, new creations etc. that fellow fans come up with is really keeping the hobby alive. Kenner made wonderful stuff and once in a rare while, I come across something they made that I haven't seen before, but for the most part everything Kenner did has been seen unless someone is just getting into the hobby (which is great too). But, the new stuff that fans make is so amazing! The main thing I have done creatively has been custom painting figures and vehicles that are either old, beat up Kenner that wasn't worth much money-wise or that are new Hasbro that they didn't bother to paint very well anyway. It's very fun to treat those toys like they are miniatures and painting them like I paint RPG minis and terrain. I am so impressed with what people do with custom paints and especially with customizing and building their own toys. Thanks for this positive video!

It's crazy every time I see a loose Kenner first 12 action figure like a Vader or a farm boy Luke or Leia or an Obi-Wan I just go right back to all my friends and me had these toys and I was like 7 years old. The Nostalgia is so strong. I was watching Poltergeist just yesterday and there's those action figures in the kids bedroom and Bam I'm right back in 1977. Evel Knievel action figures mego kiss action figures Hot Wheels you name it period waking up watching Saturday morning Looney Tunes. Great times

From 1977 as a 12 year old kid going to see Star Wars for the first time and coming out of the cinema totally blown away by what I just watched and then collecting figures and vehicles and now at nearly 60 years old when I start talking about Star Wars and collecting I am that 12 year old kid again.

Love the M Falcon shirt ,I’m taking a summer break away from my vintage SW collecting ,I’m 60 still trying to show my son 24 dad still has a few more trucks up my sleeves before I really get old ,so I’m concentrating on my garage giving it a huge make over thats long over due ,fighting the heat in between hope to complete my goal by the end of August so I can move my 79 TRANS AM back in and start tearing it down a lot on my plate but w God giving me the strength and very bull headed ness lol I shall over come the barriers that stand before me.

What Disney has done to our beloved Star Wars is heartbreaking but because of a handful of channels especially yours has helped me hold onto the Star Wars I grew up with and luv and cherish! Thank you for all that you do! Keep up the outstanding work! BTW thoughts on new Haslab of Mos Eisley Cantina? Not sure if you've chimed in on that? I scored a couple of Star Wars items at a Toys R Us in Windsor last weekend when I hopped across the border to visit a couple of friends

My Star Wars toys range from pre-Episode 4 up to the Expanded Universe, all from the Black Series toy line so far. Never expected to own myself a white version of Darth Vader for my latest collection. I think a lot of toy collectors nowadays have forgotten the joy of collecting for your own. I have no time for toy drama or flexing. Every person has their own way of collecting and that's all that matters.

Love the SW positivity in this video GQ. I try not to get wrapped up in the discord found on social media when it comes to new SW content & projects. But it's hard to avoid sometimes. There's a big difference between sharing honest opinions & feedback & just beginning negative and hateful (just for the sake of hating). Life is beautiful & I'll always love SW too. No one can take that away from us, unless we allow ourselves to fall victim to it. And that ain't happening. Thanks again for bringing the positivity today. I feel like the community should be rallying around the good things and extinguishing all the negativity. Long live Star Wars!!!

I'm in total agreement. If Star Wars isn't happening anymore, you have to make your own or be appreciative for what you've got. As you say, the fans are making the best work. This year I've been doing something a bit different, taking a small break from figures. I'm really enjoying myself going after ships and playsets. I just got a beautiful AT-ST in the mail the other day. :) Hoping to get the Sherwood Forest before summer ends. :) Thanks for the good vibes Thanks for the video

Sounds like a blast! And I'm sure you know already that Kenner made 2 Forest Playsets. The Sherwood one with the green treetops is the revamped Robin Hood set. The original '83 Ewok Village has no green and is colored differently. Just a heads up.

@@GQJedi I totally agree with you. There has been great stuff since, but the universe of Star Wars today is galaxies 🌌 apart from each other. I find the younger Generation can’t comprehend that due to ignorance unfortunately.
