Great list! I agree with everything on here. Fun factor wise I would recommend Tauns as well. For me, it’s one of the more fun units to play on the table. Fast, has great shooting, agile, and not to mention the only unit with Ram. When I started, I quickly bought 3 units bc they were so cheap for what they are.

Awesome to see another buy first video, surprised to see that Commandos didn't make the cut considering they give you technically 2 special forces units. The empire list video was super useful as I got many ideas for what to get with Christmas money..... This might have to wait till my birthday but I have a few ideas for what to get next for rebels. Awsome as usuall! I would recommend the specialist pack first. Cause that box comes with a generic rebel-group card also, wich can get you a solid skirmish list with the core set.

Thanks for the updated lists! I need to pick up Sabine to run with my Mandos. The regular mandos have been a bit of a glass cannon when playing with my son. We currently are playing skirmish games. Off to watch the Empire video to see what I need to get my son.

Thanks for the recommendation I bought a rebels core set a couple months ago because me and my friend splinted a core set and we were able to have a mini battle what would be a cheaper recommendation for the rebels. Also love the legion vids and keep up the amazing work.

Even though I've been playing for a year and have almost all the rebels, this was still a good watch!

I feel I gotta watch those guides even when theyt are not aimed at me - just helps me keep in good hype-zone :) Got myself extra b2's up to 4 squads so I'm gonna do some attack of the clones style lists :D

I think if you’re on a big budget you should get a core, (I’d say veterans as your first core) then GET THE TAUNTAUNS WHAT ARE YOU DOING then get a vehicle (can’t go wrong anywhere rebel vehicles are super good but I would recommend T-47) then a special forces (toss up between pathfinders and commandos get whichever will probably want both at some point) and then another commander that’s not like and rebel officer. I got cassian cuz he came with k2 but you can’t go wrong any way. That’s what I figured I should have then after that I just got what I thought was fun, 1.4 FD, wookiees, fleet troopers, Jyn, han, AA5, etc

A video of speculation about the neutral faction would be cool, like if you think there will be a starter what units would be included, mechanics they could have ect.

Another awesome list! I think I’d place Wookiees in the S tier or at least ahead of Sabine, Mandos, and Rogue One units. I have two boxes of Mandos and one is still waiting to be opened. I bought three new Wookiee units and all three will be painted before Mando box #2. Plus you can speed paint Wookiees with contrast paints waaaaay faster than Mandos and Sabine (Sabine is super tricky if you’re painting for screen accuracy). But yeah Crabbok you got solid picks! I definitely need a second T-47!

Hi thanks for your Legion content! I’ve been getting more interested in Legion and saw they announced the Syndicate faction. That is right up my ally and what I would want to play. Do you think they’ll release a starter set for the Syndicate? I’m on a budget and I think I’ll wait for the Syndicate stuff to come out before buying anything but am hoping that I won’t still need to buy one of the two Starter Boxes.

Nice. A great video. I'm still not sure if I'm ever gonna pick up Star Wars Legion. The miniatures look great I'm just not a big Star Wars fan, I mean I like the Mandolorian and some movies. So I don't know.

At my firts purchase I bought only 2 additional commanders, because you probably dont run like 4 commanders or operatives, you will try out which ones are perfect for you and which units fits the best to them. I recommend buying one additional core unit and some support units. Maybe decide by which one do you would like to play the most.

Accidentally I seem to have bought things pretty much in this order (although I skipped the Veterans...) - I still haven't had chance to play yet though!

The escape pod was one of my first buys. Based solely on cool factor R2-D2 and C3PO say no more. I have more operatives and commanders than troops

I would put Cassian much higher and absolutely add Han Solo! Wookiees are great too, and the airspeeder is highly recommended. You don’t need Chewie if you have Han. It’s the Wild West, just about everything is good!

I bought a Legion Stormtrooper squad, 7 minis. I gave up on trying to paint the soft plastic. I washed them, dried them and could not get the White Scar spray primer to stick. What a nightmare.

What is the best faction?

Curious on Luxary playstyle tokens. What is the max tokens one could possibly ever need? I know 2 commanders is the most one can field, what are other restrictions, and if one goes super cheap say B1's all the way, if one wanted to have a token for every possible scenerio, how many of each token would that entail?
