You can be cool...but you will never be Darth Vader flying on his Tie Fighter wielding his red lightsaber level of cool.

This trailer is one of the best pieces of art ever created. I am constantly coming back to watch it, even almost 5 years later.

Man I forgot how much hype this trailer was back when it was released. It had everything: Mandos, Leia, Old Republic callbacks, MAUL, and of course the inevitable Ashoka vs. Vader confrontation.

Sith just got real.

I hope Ezra finds a Holocron from one who was once both Sith and Jedi. One who led the Republic to victory, as a hero, and brought it to its knees as a villain. A tactician, savoir, conqueror, who wore a mask.

Those revamped versions of Ahsoka and the Inquisitors' themes are just incredible.

Yoda doesn't even look like the Clone Wars design

As much as I preferred the CW animation and loved it so much, the rebels animation has grown on me! I actually really like ahsokas new look! She's definitely the best looking animation wise! Also the voice actor Ashley who voices Ahsoka is such a good voice actor! Like you can feel the emotion! Loving the story lines of rebels 😊

I like how the blade on Anakin's lightsaber is a bit wider than those typically shown in Rebels. A nice little reference to The Clone Wars is always welcome.

Even after seeing season 3 I think this was the best Trailer for Rebels so far!

"There's always a bit of truth in Legends." So was that Lucasfilm acknowledging that some of the Legends Continuity is coming back?

I'm excited for the imminent Vader/Ahsoka battle. With the amount TCW series has invested in these two characters and their relationship, I think this duel has the potential to be even more epic and emotional than the Anakin/Obi-Wan duel at the end of Episode III.

The duel I've waited to see for so long...Master vs. Apprentice.

Season 2 was definitely my favorite of the entire show. It had all these returning clone wars characters as well as lots of Vader and Inquisitor action. Best season imo

Love the fact Ashoka said there is some truth in legends, a tongue-in-cheek to the actual Star Wars legends material they are adding to rebels

Sad thing is, all these characters will have to be killed at some point (before A New Hope, presumably), since they cannot be present later on. Seeing them develop and go through a lot just to end up slaughtered by the Empire is really frustrating.

I may have to start watching Rebels

Man I remember this trailer dropping during class and I was absolutely blown away. To this day The Twilight Of The Apprentice two part finale is still one of the best pieces of Star Wars ever created

We really need Disney to pull a TCW Ahsoka in regards to Ezra. Ahsoka went from a wimpy, unreliable student to a dependent and skilled ally over the course of a season. Now do the same to Ezra. Take off his wimpy smuggler outfits and toy lightsaber and give him a robe and the green saber we saw in this video. Put some meat on his bone and give him some height. And finally take away his obnoxious personality and make him more Anakin like (TCW that is).

Old master? Now the face looks just like Darth Maul... but... Is it Maul? I can't exactly tell. His eyes look the same as Maul... But Ezra getting that Crossguard lightsaber.... makes me think that Ezra could become the First Knight of Ren... SO MANY QUESTIONS I NEED ANSWERED.

Honestly, when Anakins voice was talking to Ahsoka, and then she's crying and screaming "NO!!" That is such a sad moment.

I don't understand why everybody keeps complaining about the art for this show. What exactly about it looks bad? What am I missing?

Why is Ahsoka the only realistic looking character...

My only issue with this trailer is how they animated Yoda. Force he looks awful and don't give me that "When 900 years old you reach, look as good you will not" line. The animators simply bombed on this one.

When people see this show and think "oh these people don't appear in the OT movies, therefore they must be dead." If that's the case, then all the other huge amount of beings in the galaxy would have to be dead as well, because only a minute fraction of them ended up in the OT movies, an incomparable amount to the trillions of trillions of beings also alive at that time.. . so it's entirely possible these characters survive, the OT covers an absolutely minute amount of the galaxy. about 6-10 planets, some space stations and some cruisers. Also, set before the OT or not, this is a very recent addition to Star Wars, and it is further expanding the universe. So while what you're seeing happened before the movies, it was made a mere couple of years ago whereas the OT ended about 20-30 years ago. The Star Wars Universe is being developed further via Rebels. Also the reason none of these characters are in the OT is, surprisingly enough, because they were created decades after.

Ahsoka will surely die at the hands of Vader but not without the first hint of the light side he thought was all but lost. This will be the first seeds of Vaders eventual redemption, very powerful and emotional stuff to come.

That green crossguard lightsaber, the new Inquisitor, the skydiving! DARTH MAUL! I think? So excited!

Ezra HAS to turn to the Dark Side, eventually. Otherwise it undermines Luke Skywalker. Seriously, if Ezra gets training from YODA himself, and Ezra never ever falls, why wouldn't the story be that Ezra grows up and confronts Vader/The Emperor. Ezra HAS to fail miserably at some point or die so Luke's story won't fall flat. This is why Episode 4 is called A New Hope.

If they kill Ahsoka, I will purge Star Wars from my memory like Palpatine purged the Jedi. Also why does Leia sound like she's 28 when she should be 14.

Does this mean they are going to Korriban? Because that would be a huge step in making some of the EU canon. (the good parts at least).

Really hoping the new third Inquisitor is Rebels version of starkiller. I know they said Galan Marek wouldn't be in the story but they could still be inspired by the character in design, and still played by Sam Witwer. I mean for gods sakes the inquisitor Ezra's fighting in 2:41 is holding their saber backhanded just like Marek did.

My favorite part of this trailer is when Anakin says " Ahsoka why did you leave?, do you know what I've become?". The emotion in that scene is just too great, and the fact you can hear regret in Anakin's voice is just amazing. Its more than just Master vs Student, these two were friends and it makes the scene powerful.

Even thought Rebels had ended, this trailer still amazes me and it gets me hyped because it feels like I’m about watch new Rebels episodes. 😭🥺😁

My heart just broke when Anakin asked "why did you leave ahoka???" I almost cried, Please tell Me I wasn't the only one.......... I know Anakin is not Anakin anymore, so for him, Ashoka means nothing....... But for her?? What does she feels after seeing her Master??? When they fight they probably fight to dead, he may hurt her or worse he may kill her :'( that's a really sad ending for this two old-friends.

I don't know what to say! Except that with this trailer I am able to look past the crappy animation and really take in the story! This is an epic trailer! I hope the episodes are just as good!

Okay guys I figured it out! So do you guys remember when they said that we had seen the Grand Inquisitor before in TCW but we didn't know it was him. Well, I had been suspecting for a while but at 2:04 we see this Jedi Sentinel guard (like the ones with the double bladed yellow lightsabers at the end of season 5 of TCW) talking to Kanan about Ezra and such, but the voice of the sentinel, the way he walks, the way he's dressed, eerily reminded me of the Inquisitor and I know for sure now that the Grand Inquisitor *WAS* in fact a Jedi Sentinel before the end of the Clone Wars and he either escaped Order 66 or left the Jedi Order before that time and somehow got tangled up with Vader. I'm calling it right now, *THAT'S* the Grand Inquisitor!

ANAKIN!!!!! It's Matt Lanter with some awfully drawn Anakin animation. I hope Rebels can sneakily fit in some TCW flashbacks with Anakin & Ahsoka moments. And of course, #1 for Disney to go back and finish TCW through Season 8.

Can you imagine how much pain ahsoka is in. The guy she's grown with and looked up to has killed everybody they talked to on a day to day basis. Padme, all the other jedi, and many others. This hits the feels. I always wonder if ahsoka didn't leave then maybe she could've stopped anakin from becoming Vader and maybe a different outcome. Idk it's just super sad when you think about all the old friendships and times they all had together.
