Lowko, you gotta cast Cure vs Gumi GSL series that happen yesterday. Very good series and the final game you will love, in fact I predict you almost fall out of your seat casting it.
Lowko, my go-to remark about watching others play video games is that it is no different than watching other people play football or baseball or whatever game people like to watch on TV. Motivations are all the same!
Yeah...I'm nerd AF and I'm proud of it...by the way - I'm also a simple man - I see "Mass Battlecruiser" or "Gumiho" in the name of a video, I click like immediately... ❤❤❤
There's nothing wrong with best-of-3s / best-of-5s, but I love it when we get to watch longer games like this one, especially those where one player starts having an advantage, and their opponent manages to turn the tables on them. If you can cast more of those, that would be great. Thanks for producing great content and posting videos on a daily basis. I watch them to unwind after long days at work.
Gumiho just mass expanding up to 9 bases while his opponent sits on 5 is not something I think anyone expected. In a 20 minute game where he didn't even lose any of them no less.
April Fool's day idea - intro a cast about SC2 patch just released, and play a game of SC1 with an SC2 strategy - whatever could be reasonably replicated
Cure first attack starting with the Banshees, Waiting for rotors and or speed, would of really helped. He was really slow with scv production from that early lead he had. Secondaly he should of had his tanks rallying and in siege positions to for aggression andbe ready to retreat. THis would of provide ample help. imo. SHould always build orbitals... and then terran accels verse terran as orbitals for minerals and front line fortress. This allows you to save time if your out of position and the nget your tanks into position to protectyour minerals for only losing a fortress, tahts hte point. SO fortress at the ramp locations... Cure did take a poor fight, but he was attacked at taht location a few times so having a leap frog tank position would of lalowed him to push gumho back easier... whilst alo allowing an easier push in front. this typically allows all your units to surive, or lose only the siege tanks seiged up as it takes a bit for the mto un siege.... getting caught off guard.. .wasn't really off guard, he should of known that potential for the oppoent ot have an army. GUmho did everything correct... When behind every taht cost s50 minerals is what you do... and then go out... just numbers wins, hit hat 200.. as long as your marines are supported wit ha medivac and you have vision of access areas, you can slow down a siege crawl on the map or punish it if they get to close... So the 50 dollar terran club special... Meh.. Cure lacked expanding.. and really fell behind economically... and lacked unit vision into the places on the map... where as gumho played like he had map hacks, building everywhere, lol. having more scvs.. etc. It is strange that he was building so many.. .but 50 dollar behind club does work... and allwos yo uto hit 200 cap as fast as possible, and killing scvs off is fairly cheap, if your behind and htink your going to lose some more... Just weirdot see cure be so far behind in population count... but meh...
I understand that these guys understand when they are beat... But I would kinda like to see a professional match actually go the distance to one of the victory conditions instead of tapping out.
