So the Overlord ACTUALLY does sound like a horse. I thought it was just me. Considering Infested Duran's VO is identical to his regular VO except for 'Yes, Captain' being replaced by 'Yes, Cerebrate', I'm not sure if he should've been in this video.

Even though there was not much covered here the thing about the defiller and the great spire destroyed my mind and sent me into a spiral of searching old starcraft buildings, their namings, and sounds. The 2 buildings likely had their sounds confused because the defile was called the Muta Chamber in naming and was the Mutation Chamber building before being removed. Their also had a 2nd building removed that had Muta in its name.

Radio Free Zerg is by far my most favorite easter egg song in video games. I mean, until today I didn't really know any other games had any secret songs, but still... RFZ is still great nostalgia of the moment my friend first told me about it.

You forgot some zerg reference which inspired of The Thing, Aliens, and Starship Troopers.

Question, GreaterSpire.wav sounds like guardians, not something I would expect to hear from the defiler mound, so did you also mix up the sound files? Like should the sound the normal spire makes meant to be for the defiler mound and you just happened to mistakenly say greater spire, or am I missing something here? Because to me it seems like Spire.wav should actually be for the defiler mound, DefilerMound.wav should be for the standard spire, and GreaterSpire.wav should be for the Greater Spire.

I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but the zergling death sound resembles a beat used in the song called "Makafushigi Adventure" from Dragon Ball.

Fun trivia about the Zerg Queen is that its sounds were performed by Lani Minella, who also voiced the Dropship pilots in SC1 and 2, as well as a few bosses in Diablo 2 and funnily enough, the Tyranid Hive Mind in Dawn of War 2 Retribution.

The zerg don't have much to talk about - but it seems strange that you didn't say anything about the voice of Big Daddy of Zerg - Overmind(if only to comment on how godlike, high-and-mighty he sounds with this almost biblical way of speaking). Does that mean, that mayhaps you will eventually make a video about Starcraft campaign?

Not that I'd expect anyone to know this, but the band Duran Duran is a reference to a 1960s scifi movie starring Jane Fonda titled "Barbarella" which features a scientist named Durand-Durand. References which are references to references. Reference-ception. Very meta.

for me personally if you listen to the hydralisk, it sounds like its speaking, saying some words.

That's awesome, I have never heard that song before :) I listened to the song again by itself on a different video and the Overmind's voice in the beginning struck me as sounding very familiar to something I've heard before. Why, it's almost identical to the Ragnaros dialogue in Molten Core (You summon him at the end of the raid after dousing all of the runes). Although, after some research I found out the characters don't share the same voice actor, I do wonder if the team used similar effects to achieve both voices. Would love to hear others' opinions on this.

Ik theres an icon mix up when it comes to the hatchery upgrading to a lair because it shows the hive icon. Then when you upgrade your lair into a hive it shows the lair icon. (Not new graphics, old graphics.)

what's funny I can make those zerg sounds without using sound effects. but I can make alot of them easy from the starcraft 2 version. I sure a few people have done SC2 zerg sounds also.
