You're welcome. I know I skimmed a lot of it but to do an in depth showcase the video would've been close to an hour long. I L-O-V-E the Monitors if you couldn't tell by the video lol.
Yeah!! Now more and more outposts in the Outer Rim will look like outposts! Not like wellness-hotels. Now with showers and suitable dividers - instead of one toiletbowl and a one paperroll with nothing else in the middle of... thx for this!
That aquarium is just an asset from the main game. It's in lots of mods. It's just how the asset is in the vanilla game. It always place in the main game where you can't see those sides.
I rewatched your video and took notes, lol. SO, in the week 1 update, the cred tank model was fixed to not have the keycard (btw the cred tank only glows when items are placed). The Nishina rug is larger than the base game rug and oddly needs distance to be placed. The Aquariums don't have backs by Bethesda design, thats the side that faces wall (weird, right?)
A few others pointed out about there needing to be an item in the container for it to glow, which I did have when I tested the Mod before the video. Fair enough on the rug. That's super weird that those 2 Aquariums don't have backs, but nothing surprises me about Bethesda games any more lol. Thanks for the clarifications!
This is great. Looking at candles. YOU: They aren't lit. ME: Thank God! Oxygen is like gold in space. YOU: Open flame in a spaceship is a terrible idea. Agreed then. Interesting that you said people would pay. Why wouldn't Bethesda put out a builder's kit with all this extra stuff for people who care about building/crafting and have the space on their rig. Not a majority of players, but you are right, we would pay extra. But builders are often moders too. We have to be. Thanks for presenting this.
You're welcome and yeah, it'd be nice to have greater in-game access to the game's assets without specifically requiring we all learn how to use the Creation Kit.
I don't know if you had Skully's mods/creations prior to the update, but they took some really cool items out :( I am hoping they bring them back and add even more. The descriptions says update weekly, so I think we have a lot more to look forward to!

Been locked out of my computer by Hurricane Beryl for over a week now 🤬 I can’t wait until my power gets turned back on so I can get all these new mods I’ve been seeing.
For me I am happy to be able to decorate with the items that are already in the game, like the towels (now I just want to be able too wear it or have it in my personal inventory). What I would like is to have the different fridges that are in the game available. They are gone in the empty mess hall habs, and the one fridge that is available does look like a…
I should've been more clear. When I said base game, I mean the base game Outpost builder as in what you can "craft" to place in your Outpost (now Ship Decorate tool). Literally everything in the Mod exists in game but now we have convenient access to it all.
@@eckz8659 the smallest options are still pretty hefty, but will attach to the desk monitor just like a wall decoration and make it look like a ~40 inch monitor. Specifically, I used the display that changes every few seconds that was pointed out in this video
Allof those assets are just pulled from the vanilla game not created stuff. Good that the consoles are getting access to this now. The hab is cool tho and that screen that switches.
Indeed. Like I said in the video, you CAN go out and find much of it laying around to pick up and decorate with, but now we have a Mod for ease of use... And Xbox.
@@delindsay like I said, good for consoles. Too bad that Bethesda was focused on greed rather player satisfaction. Fallout 4 was my first venture into modding. Community patches, the script extender, and other mods were available as scaffolding for other mods. They killed that with Skyrim, I think. So except for the flat walled empty hab and maybe the kind of animated screen, everything else has been available on nexus for many months. Bethesda chose not to allow console users access to most of this. It was a choice not a necessity.
@@delindsay When I was a kid (with my pet dinosaur) my great uncle told me "never trust what someone says, watch what they do". Bethesda is telling us how they feel about their client base in action and lying g about it with words. And apparently no one has the balls to call them on it because the fan boys shout them down or they get hit with the " don't you think modders deserve to get paid for their efforts" crap, when it's not even about that. I may try to make a mod, a small one, maybe sell it for a buck. I gotta look at that mod author agreement.
One of those mods that's making it hard for me to wait out a month or so for all the awesomeness of mods to work together better. Avontech, DarkStar, This one etc. But once things have settled down bug-wise I'll be SUPER happy to PAY to get them!
This one is in it's 3rd iteration so I'd wager the Mod author has gotten things on lock by now (part of why I also waited for this one). There's a few more I'm still waiting until they works the issues out like Derretech for example.
@@delindsay Yep it's looking good but I am waiting because (as I understand it) Mods like the Doors one and Darkstar and Avontech, derretech, glowing something, don't all play together well yet etc. So I guess what I'm waiting for is some kind of standardization to happen.
@@donr2258 Yes, there is some of that going around where this Mod isn't happy with that Mod but I don't think it's a fault of the Modders, or at least, not directly. the MAIN issue is when 2 different Mods alter the same back end thing (for different reasons) and that causes a conflict between the 2.
I don’t if this is true but the person who “invented” gif’s said it’s pronounced jif. I don’t know the context of that quote, if he was joking or being serious, but I’m with you. When people start calling it jraphics I’ll start pronouncing it jif
@@delindsay also this is more of a British thing but to most people over here jif is lemon juice that comes in a lemon shaped bottle that we put on our pancakes (similar to crepes) for shrove Tuesday. Although thinking about it it might be spelt with 2 f’s
