We can only imagine her path after Sam's death. Who knows what her grandfather and mother told her, but I put money on the grandfather stoking her anger and resentment. She either blames us personally or all of Constellation for Sam's death and is now on a revenge mission, only refraining from violence if we merely tell her he didn't die on our watch (which may be true or not). Is that a lack of empathy for the decision we (the player) faced, the sign of a person whose emotional development stopped the day her dad died? In any case, she either returned to join Constellation under false pretenses or gained access to the Armillary just for her revenge mission. She's also available for future DLC (and mad as hell!). :)

@@nywolf9798 Yes, that was a lucky break. I've tried those before and gotten two Lawgivers and too little ammo. In one short video, I resorted to using the gun as a club. :)
In early NG+ iterations, if I know I'm getting an Alternate Universe I use my prep-guide and start by looting Vectera and other places. I've only gotten one weird NG so far in eleven trips, and i honestly hope I don't get this one, annoying as she is I'd feel bad killing her. And on my first playthrough Sam did die, so i could save Sarah.
@@kineer I spoke too soon, just started a new NG and when I went to the lodge the Hunter was cloaked standing there. He wasn't hostile thankfully because I had crap weapons, and he gave me all the artifacts but I assume he killed everyone, but their was no bodies or signs of a struggle. My parents are also missing, I have the kid trait. When you go to the family apartment you can't go in. So maybe he killed them also. It is nice that I have the lodge as a player home and Nicole isn't stalking me following me around repeating the same three lines. It would have been nice to know more what happened to everyone but the hunter doesn't say, so you're left to assume.
@@kineer if I don't repeat the beginning of the game and I tell them I'm starborn she'll start the three line routine. It's so freaking annoying, she'll even come in the bedroom, even if I'm in a romance. She'll be at the foot of the bed and she'll start repeating herself again. Ugh
@@nywolf9798 I've only done the main quest as Starborn once and I tend to get out from the Lodge and work from my ship so I might have dodged this. I hope she is avoidable for you in the future. :)
I’ve gone through the unity like 60 times and have never gotten an alternate universe. I never even get the starting mission go to the lodge or go to the lodge (MAST dist) of any kind. It just starts me at Vectera and that’s it. I don’t even get a mission to go to.
I tested after the May update, have hours (GBs) of video of it working. This video was made after that time as well. Not sure what to tell you, but I suspect something is wrong on your PC or Xbox.
I was trying to make a RU-vid Short (and I don't usually do voice on those), but I dragged it over the 1 minute limit. So it's a not a short, short. I also just wanted to get some new video out today after doing some testing in preparation for NG+6.
No mods or console commands were used. I've earned every 'alternate universe' I've found by repeatedly going through the Unity and/or loading the save on the Guardian ship. @@kineer Just confirming that it is easier to restore the save created at the Guardian ship than doing the entire Unity thing plus credits again. Plus it sounds like it could take a while doing either method. Also not clear on what the Mast District reference indicates and where you see it. Does it pop up on the map once you open it or does it just show up on the screen briefly?
