SERIOUS TIP: Go to settings>controls>outpost item rotation speed. Turn that thing ALL the way down. You can actually make things straight FINALLY. Of course i only figured that out two rooms in.
I wish I could give this comment more than one like! I have been practically pulling my hair out trying to precisely place things in this game on the default settings!
Ok, I didn't know how to add windows to hab modules until now, and just last night I figured out how to cycle between different variants of a particular type of outpost module (unfortunately, unlike ship building, you can't just select a module & change it to another variant, or at least I haven't figured out how to do that). Still hoping to get my outpost properly up & running soon. Need to make a shopping list of components I need & take another trip to New Atlantis or Akila, but at least I now have on-site storage for my gold, fluorine, chlorine & water extractors.
Building seems kinda mediocre with this, eh. I hope molders are up to task. Not feeling a great urge to go full in yet on this, granted, I’ve been hesitant from day one where they announced it, since I’m obviously nursing those salty 76er wounds yet (I still play 76, so there’s always hope, eh.). Thanks for the guide, champ! Already got the game but still haven't booted it in. Was curious about something you might help me with. Is it all modules like subnautica or do you have a tab with individual walls and floors and all that we use to build what we build in fallout 4?

Do the storage containers (solid, liquid, gas, warehouse) share their resources within the outpost? So that you can complete research and modify stuff with said resources? (And use them for building of course)
Yes it does! You also have access to your ship inventory if it's a) close by or b) on a landing platform. I recommend going straight for the big landing platform though. You outgrow the small one pretty fast which sucks.
Hey quick question … did you use the console command mod to maximize your carry weight ? If not I feel like this would take months lol … I used it on mine but I might start over without it it feels cheated but is it impossible to do this without it ?
Loved the video @kort867! Can't wait for the next video man! So.... How would you build a Military Outpost man? Any ideas on starting the Minutemen of Starfield? I'm hoping we get an Update that allows us to create Smaller Starfighters, instead of Building them the size of Starships. But it's Bethesda..... "It just works!" My Backside!
