Great video! I've been really struggling with the menu systems and how to load things so I'm very grateful that you made this. For us newer players even the most basic things that experienced players know how to do or work around does not come naturally.
This comment is what I needed to see. I'm always watching tips and tricks videos and sitting here groaning because I already do all of them from "naturally" knowing to do so. Ty great summarization of all the important controls in the game. I made my character, survived the tutorial, but forgot/had no idea how to fly or operate my ship! I had no idea you could upgrade it or even get a better space boat! Ty again

I have a cheap "pro style" controller (any controller with buttons on the handles) and set the right pinky button to y, works great for me! Y is also the missile (er more specifically weapon 3) button when dogfighting so keeping that button handy is great! My left pinky button is linked to pressing left stick in as that is always a problematic button for me.
I went into the ship builder for the first time and couldn't figure out how to use the controller. All I could do is select a part and change it in place. There is nothing in the ship builder that tells you what to press to move things, how to change the colors and more. I sat there for quite some time pressing buttons and couldn't do what I wanted to do. I have watched so many ship building videos but no one has yet to say what you press to be able to do the things in those building videos. Fallout 4 was way easier when it came to building. Just last night I stumbled upon how to build outposts by accident, while I was in the middle of a fight I pulled out a outpost beacon during the fight.
Would like some help in settings for controls and how to get better at aiming and looking. I find this game frustrating to play because of looking controls and aiming.. I usually play pc but for this game I have to play on Xbox series x.
Could you do a more detail tutorial on using the ship builder and building outposts? I went into the ship builder for the first time and couldn't figure out how to move, change pieces and how to change the colors on the ship. The ship builder is not as easy as building something on Fallout 4.
I've seen some videos where when boosting in your ship you can stop boosting to save that boost energy.. I have to find that button on the xbox controller to do this. Any help with that?
here is a serious question.. do you xbox players buy lots of digital games or do you mostly get them for free on Game Pass? I have over 1,000 games digitally i bought over the yrs stored in the cloud..just curious if Xbox players buy many games the same way as PS people do..
@@AchievementLandno really! I have been through Google and Reddit trying to find the best settings! I play COD all the time and thought this game would be a little more chill when aiming! And for me it over-shoots past any thing I aim at. Could it be a faulty game controller? I have tried it with batteries and directly plugging into the console! If you have any idea I would take the help!! Thank you!!
I started this game yesterday I didn’t even get past as soon as it started. Where the lady is talking to the guy and it just did not get me. I know it was not even 5 min but I just don’t like the game. Not my style.
