The clip includes these videos: * Dr. Jackson on the Stargate * Dr. Jackson on Hyperspace * Dr. Jackson on the Ancients * Dr. Jackson on Ascension * Dr. Jackson on the Goa'uld * Dr. Jackson on the Lucian Alliance
Hi, I'm Daniel Jackson, you might remember me from such instructional videos as "The Ancients: Frend or Foe?" and "How did everyone learn English all of a sudden?"
Every single person who has watched this. it is your duty and responsibility to show these recordings to your children and their descendants in order to uphold and carry on the teachings of The 5 races. Hallowed are the ORI!!
The franchise could've/should've made an entire series of these types of "educational" videos, having Daniel Jackson explain the language, symbols, and archeology stuff, and other characters like Sam explaining astrophysics, math, geometry, Teal'c giving a history of the Jaffa, the Nox telling their history, and Thor explaining what the Asguard learned in the many thousands of years they've been around, etc, etc. It would've been very popular.
@@blackadder564 "I'm Ronon. This is how to kill a Wraith: Pick up a gun. Shoot at it. Keep shooting until it stops moving. Shoot it again. That's pretty much it."
Nathan Norman All Death are performed be professionals such as myself, do not attempt it at home. Stargate Command and United State of America will not be responsible for any unfortunate incident.
She doesn’t know how to create a black hole. I guess it’s in the Asgard archives but I don’t think it practical for them yet. Now blowing up a star is something she could explain.
They're doing a new one, eventually. Apparently it's a prequel, using that old doctor, I forget her name. I don't really see how that will come through, honestly. The weird stuff doesn't happen till AFTER the gate is opened. Unless there's more than one Goa'uld running around earth.....
Hello I´m Doctor Daniel Jackson and i died a couple of times while fighting other species, but got revived every time. Now the bad News: if you die, you wont be.
DEATHBYFLYINGCDS That certainly worked for Sheppard since he got Ascended Beings to fall in love with him. So he should last longer than Jackson that can't ever get along with the other Ascended ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4rLREQXH4BA.html
Bra´tac is a recurring character? :D I thought he was a main character :D and that thing with sheppard happened more times I think :D but one of those women wasn´t ascended yet so I don´t know :D
Hi, my name is Troy McClure, you may remember me from such instructional videos as 'Mommy, why does Daddy's eyes glow when he's upset?' and 'Mommy, what is that big, blue insect doing to your neck?'
Hi I'm Dr. Daniel Jackson and I'm rapidly loosing my mind because I keep have make these videos and say that one line over and over again......because I work for to the United States Air Force. Jack, I'm am getting paid for this, right?
Hi, I'm Doctor Daniel Jackson and this is a sarcophagus. Although all of the examples of these devices that we know of were made by (or for) the Gu'aould they are in fact, as with most things made by or for the Gu'aould, a product of stolen Ancient technology. These devices can heal nearly any kind injury and are even capable of restoring life to a dead body. They can also be used to sustain life nearly indefinitely by placing the user in a sort of stasis. These devices were used for centuries by the Gu'aould to ensure their longevity. However, as powerful as the sarcophagus is it does have limits and drawbacks. Using it very occasionally produces no ill effects. However, when used regularly, especially when unneeded, the psychological side effects can include megalomania and intense notions of superiority. What's more, the sarcophagus cannot actually restore youth or reverse aging, it can only temporarily halt aging via suspended animation whilst one is inside the sarcophagus. Once one exits the sarcophagus the aging process restarts. Thus, while very powerful healing devices, they cannot grant immortality and their use must be carefully restricted. Oh, by the way I was once addicted to one of these but I no longer crave the sweet embrace of... I mean I don't want it anymore.
Hi I'm Dr. Daniel Jackson sarcophagus are a hell of drug kids, just say no. even if some hot lady thinks your her destined mate , especially if some hot lady thinks your her desisted mate. it can make you into a real jerk. Hi I'm Dr. Daniel Jackson you may during your time come across a great many strange substances and objects in the galxexys we have access to that have a addictive quality. these may include. Wrath juice, sarcophagus, pyscho weed, pretty lights, time travel (several hours later) and head crabs
It would be funny if Phil Hartman had overdubbed Michael’s voice… “I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such movies as ‘Hathor has a snake in her head’ and ‘It’s all about Yu.’ ”
I'm Doctor Daniel Jackson, the most interesting scientist in the world. I don't often travel to other galaxies, but when I do I always take the Stargate.
Daniel Jackson is the protagonist of Stargate. Almost every major plotline surrounds him -- from discovering how to work the Stargate, saving Sha're, his influence on the team while ascended, defeating Anubis, and travelling to the Ori home galaxy which sparks that whole thing.
vveet i wonder, since O’neill is such a huge Simpsons fan, that a lot of the time when Carter is talking in his mind he’s yelling “NEEEEEEEERD!” in Homer’s voice.
Very nice to hear him recount the first encounter with the Goa'uld, Ra. Kind of a reminder to all those who forgot where this excellent continuation of that movie came from.
OriginalTharios i remember reading the real sequel to the original Stargate movie was Independence Day, the original creators were forced to heavily rewrite the script however due to some legal issues hence why Independence Day has no elements of OG Stargate Movie left in it
I bursted out laughing at the last "I'm Dr. Daniel Jackson" with that book, that totally looked like they surprise Daniel every time they want to make a new video, like "Here we are, topic: hyperspace, go!" xD btw did they use some original design sketches for those videos? That Prometheus looks kinda strange.
I love how they managed to make something interesting and exciting, so utterly boring and mundane. Watching this felt like I was back in college viewing a lesson one of my professors recorded as extra study material. I even automatically got into my "must memorize this for the upcoming test pose". Made me feel like one of Pavlov's dogs when I realized what I was doing. Lol.
I'm Dr. Daniel Jackson, and what you're about to hear is the most amazing thing you'll ever hear in your life but you'll probably fall asleep because of how boring i am...... Exept when i'm on missions, then i kick ass.
I'm Doctor Daniel Jackson and unfortunately all this great technology including the Stargate is hidden from you in plain sight...Hence we had to make the Stargate franchise to cover things up for the Airforce who kindly supplied a General for the setting up of the cover program..
Anybody got any for fun guide for where they might 've been inspired or taken influence from. I love the show and the lore but am interested in seeing it's real life connection o If there is such a thing...maybe I'll have to wait until after disclosure
@@42flyingphish Funnily enough there actually WAS a military program called stargate. Though it didn't revolve around gates or galactic transportation, But to instead study ESP and precognitive ability. And ran from 1978 to 1995 (the designation as the Stargate Project was adopted in 1991)
Once actually during season 6. As for the end of season 8 in the Astral Dinner, Oma said that he wasn't ascended yet, only in between our plane and the ascended plane, and that he had two choices, ascension or death, but couldn't help the galaxy if he chose to ascend anyway.
+Yoyo Season 8 he had to ascend to retake human form. He had only two choices Death or Ascension. The only thing that he couldn't do was take the knowledge he had gain that made him want to return to being a human with him or the paper Anbus was flashing in front of him. So in fact he did ascend twice to retake human form which happened at the end of that episode where he turned up naked. he might have been ascended for about 2 minutes, but it counts.
I could swear it was three times... Season 5, season 6 and season 10... After being exposed to naquadria radiation, oma took him to ascension, until they prevented him from destroying Anubis. Then again, he died and was taken to the diner experience... and was returned to human form. Then again after the replicators were destroyed while Daniel was on their ship being tortured by samanthaplicator... Or was that only two?
ah yes the "Ori" evil ascended being that live in another galaxy. Pff we have dismissed these claims. Clearly this Prior is just telling you what you want to hear to distract you from the real threat of the Lucion Alliance.
Well, they won't because, it's a fictional, unrealistic though good TV show & franchise. There are no such things as Ancients, Stargates, Goa'uld, Asgard etc. The level of human - alien interaction in many science fiction novels or productions is unrealistic, impossible and thus will never occur. Future Humans will be able to differentiate between reality and fiction. It's unlikely a 6 minute clip will last 100,000 years or so and if it does it will be placed in an entertainment museum. Humans will never be deemed 'ancient' as that would require something other than humanity to designate us as ancient, though you could say that God will designate us as such in the future. The idea of aliens taking humans from Earth and placing them on other planets or a pre-human or alien race engineering a new human race or the human race in general in the distant past is absurd. All future humans living on other planets and in other galaxies in the universe will never forget that their ancestors left Earth in the 21st or 22nd centuries etc.
such as the fake beliefs of religion who worshipped advanced beings who came from other places in the galaxy and universe believing there capabilities are that of a god. nothing more to say. all religion does is cause chaos death, hate. no proof. half is missing. most stolen from other beliefs and changed such as all the pictures and images of christ. all stolen from Egyptian mythology and changed to resemble a pledian man.
Reminds me a bit of the mysterious introductory films from the show "Lost" with 70s film effects. I also love how you can see the actor is reading a teleprompter.
I had this in recommended vid in time of coronavirus ... so does RU-vid want to tell me That only way How to survive that is that I have to escape by Stargate?
Holy shit! You do realize you will never be able to change your screen name for the rest of the existence of RU-vid because of this one comment, right?
According to this subReddit: www.reddit.com/r/Stargate/comments/2tppsn/just_stumbled_across_this_amazing_instructional/ they're not from SG-1 but were videos shown to Eli in Stargate Universe.
Terry Long Yes, Terry Long I hope so much it. I'm from México, I support your wish and faith to Stargate Universe could back. I love so much this TV series.
SGU was AWFUL! We never cared for any of the characters. This was the SG version of the HHG B-ark: dispatched into oblivion to get rid of them! Loved SG1! Have the DVDs which are due for another rerun at our place. Dr. Jackson did get jaded over time. A shame. I liked him as the conscience of the team. Let's see how SG Origins does?
Daniel on Ascension - I think the reason most of his memory as an ascended being was erased / suppressed was because as a descended human, the sheer volume of raw data & info would overload his mind & memory, & he would either have been in a permanent catatonic state or he would've died.
If they ever re-make Stargate, they need to address these issues: - Everyone speaks English. While it's understandable that the creators didn't want to make it too complex about each planet having different languages, which would make communication impossible, this could have been addresses with some universal language translator technology (built by the ancients), which doesn't translate a language by word, but rather translates the thoughts of what an other life form is trying to express, and converts that into English. - The 39 symbols on the stargate are star constellations as seen from earth. As it turned out, the Stargate wasn't built on earth, and a Stargate on the other side of a galaxy would see completely different constellations, therefore the symbols have no universal (or galactical) meaning, other than for people from earth. I am sure some hardcore sci fi geeks, math professors and astronomers, could come up with a better universal logic of how to dial stargate across the galaxy.
The "everyone pseaks english" problem was actually resolved in SGU. Guess what, people didn't like that. Also fanbase rejected the idea of making stargate more "realworld like". One thing is what makes sense and another thing is what sells.
iirc, it's explained that Earth was used as the primary world for the Alterans when they moved to the Milky Way. I would assume that is means they used constellations as seen from earth for some sort of cultural or otherwise "Earth-Centric" reason.
@@pringles_mcgee Some fundamental core principles of a SciFi show do require addressing the issues. Even the writers made fun of these issues in their 100th and 200th episodes, because they were fully aware of these issues. SciFi story telling evolves and keeps getting higher standards. If they remake Stargate, fans won't accept the "we all just speak English throughout the Universe and no one knows why".
He is absolutely gorgeous and he's so damn charismatic. I could listen to him read the phone book and end up . . . hot and bothered by the end of it. D'oh. I just said that, didn't I?
Why is there some sneaky part of me that thinks in 2066 is this going to be some Pilots first entry into Subspace. It will look as dated to him as the Earth Cold War "get to a shelter" videos are.
I'm betting the four dislikes were Lucians. The Ori and Goa'uld really wouldn't care, and I don't think the Wraith have anything compatible with our internet.
