dude thank you you don’t understand how this helped me. Me and my friends thought we had it until we started drowning so i looked up a quick tutorial on yt and yours popped up and enter red every single solution and we got the tall tale done because of you. Thank you

Great walkthrough! I didn't complete all of the tall tales 5 times each before my rather long break from the game, so I am going back and getting them now and your channel is extremely helpful. I really wish Rare would bind the tale items to your inventory because the chances of getting griefed is pretty damn high.

Thank you for this 😊. Had the most unluckiest of times mind, twice sunk by crews who followed me around, one kraken, about 3 ghost ships on 5 separate occasions 😆😆. Took me 10 go's but I got there lol
I had the crab totem and went into the vault and when I come out there’s a guy just standing there and he follows me back to my ship when I see his sloop and I didn’t want to put down the stone in case he steals it,other than the fact he was waiting for me outside they seemed like a friendly duo.I go into my sloops storage area when I notice the treasure chest I filled with skulls is gone so I hide the stone below deck and head to their ship,when I see my chest so I I take it back,but on the way I see a guy walked out with the stone so I go get it back when I notice he sailing away so I go swim back to my ship when one of the guys jumps of too and I’m nearly there and I get shot so I swim underwater and I die and the guy steals the stone and swims back to his ship.When I respawn I sail to chase them into a storm where I lose them but I see loot floating in the water and there’s a red glow so I lower anchor and swim to it but it’s gone so I swim back to my ship underwater and I see a black and red megalodon.So it turned out the red glow was the fin of a megalodon!
That's good! Sorry the images failed you a little bit, they are different because they are the images from the book, rather than the ones on the pillar, and the ones on the pillars are completely different for some reason
I don’t know if my game was glitching or what but the last pages I got that mentioned an untold story had zero to do with the images I had to choose from on the totems. My game crashed after the water killed me so hopefully I can actually complete this when I try again tomorrow
All i had to do was get back to the port and then i got the triple threat. A kraken emerged so i had to u-turn asap. It held me in place and got some hits on me but i escaped but with a lot less wood. The shadowmaw rose and took way too many chomps out of my sloop leaving me on even less wood until the music changes and a skeleton sloop rockets out of the water, i lower my sails, giving up on defeating the megalodon and instead preventing myself from being a still target of a cannon until i realised i only had 17 wood left and 19 cannonballs. I get blasted from left and right from the ship as it shatters my mast. I go to fire back until i realise im out of wood. At this point i hear the hull of my ship croaking from the terrifying amount of water in the lower deck. I bail the idea of fixing the mast and bail the water from my boat, hoping the returning fire i'd earlier attacked with was enough to scuttle the ship that now circled me like the megalodon i felt so confident against until more and more cannonballs smash into my ship, flooding it more with each second until i could bail the water from my ship no more, for it had become one with the water it onced sailed and sank to davy jones locker.

after 3 fucking hours as a solo sloop I died in the last vault because my ass was absolutely brain dead at the end and now have to restart completely. Fuck me
Question, do you have to do all eight tails five times apiece for each one of the eight or just do it once through? Then you get the shroud on your ship?
I just lost my mind on "the patient one" ... I'm trying to do them without "cheating" but c'mon the clues are bs *._.* It says South island looking through the hole in the sky. Of course i've done many riddles on Crescent isle that sound like this clue and that's the only one south that I can think with a hole is Crescent. But Thieves Haven? this shit ain't a hole ... it's a damn crater idk
The symbols aren't a 1:1 match but they are still somewhat similar, if you couldn't match them then that's down to your immaculate problem solving skills
doing these tales have made me realise how scum humans really are, the amount of times I play passive and friendly yet get absolute hell rained down upon me for no reason as i'm trying to do something like put in the gems to the totem etc
The images on the totem/pillars are different to the ones provided in the book, it may look quite different in the stone pillars, so you may have just missed it
