Every time he posts a video, my jaw drops at what he's capable of...and it seems to come so easy to him. I gone my whole life listening to guitarists regurgitate blues-rock riffs thinking that's what it meant to be a guitarist...none of them had any deeper creativity toward composition except for like Vai. Joshua is a Unicorn... a fucking beautiful prog unicorn.
@@Feverdream7777 i second this, I feel at this point it must be harder for him to explain than to actually do what he does. I am a huge fan of his syncopated riffs that modulate meters and his fast triplet using hybrid picking. I dont think anyone else does it like him
I also ran into lots of headaches with DAWs that can't grid (or quantize) in a custom subdivision. I was relieved when I found out that Reaper can do all that, recommend that you try it
Even I knowing a bit of tuplets and stuff, I can't help myself been mesmerized by the DAW tricks and the final result, what a track!. Congrats for the talent you build up.
Josh, can I please pay you to make Midi packs!? Please please. I'm all about those odd time grooves and there's often little time to achieve what we need as a tool for song writing. Never hurts to make a suggestion. I bet there would be some others who would want to purchase them as well

Perennial is fantastic, I listen to it on repeat while I write code it’s perfect the way it casually undulates up and down in intensity with out ever being uncomfortable
