Starter Replacement on C3 Corvette: Corvette E2 

Thanks for watching. The SBC does a pretty good job of filling the engine bay on a C3 Corvette. I can only imagine how challenging a BBC would be to work on.

Honestly, it was just a generic starter from Amazon. Let me check if the big block and small block use the same part number.

According to Rock Auto, the 350 and 454 can use the starter motors. I guess it could be a question of compression, if your 454 has high compression, it may be a bit tough to turn over

The bog black wire is the incoming voltage to turn the starter. It goes on the top large terminal.
