Make sure you check the wire with the cloth cover.the factory ran a resistance wire to a ballast resistor to the coil.if you use an electronic ignition you will need to do away with that wire and run a wire to get 12 volts switched from your fuse block.
Thanks for the info.. That wire is the “yellow” 12v supply to the Coil. I’m running points (old school) and will set everything up like original (except for the heater wires, which are being replaced by the Vintage Air unit.)
