Neat old truck! I was surprised it was not a diesel. Also surprised to see dual carburetors and contact breaker ignition on that engine. Always enjoy watching your channel...
Its actually just the standard B30A petrol 3-liter straight six taken from the Volvo 164 luxury saloon production line and slotted into these military vehicles then fitted with a terrain gearbox and 4x4/6x6 drive.
@@narki86 No, thats not really true. The military version of B30 is different to the standard engine for 164, different cam trans for instance that is in steel and not in plastic and several other "ajustements" applyed .😊 Nice TGB you got, everything seems to work exept for the heat adjustment. Take good care of it, they are quite rare today.
Expectacular!!!
Hey, i was wondering where you find all these cars, its nearly summer and i want to see if i can find some vehicles i can have soms fun with and learn to drive, any help is much appreciated
Very easy and rogh little vagon. That engine is bullet proof. Seems like the water pump is sounding awful. Dont forget to grease all the grease points underneath.
I have a question, what are you doing with the cars after making them run? Are you seling them? Are you keeping them? Are you leaving them where you found them?
No, the Volvo manufactured under licence in Hungary was the Volvo C202. The C202 was a civilian version of the Volvo L3314 that was produced between 1959-1967.
5:02 I like that engine sound.I love military vehicles and tanks since I was a child. For the usability, size, armor of the engines, although not always, but still, for the fact that they can drive through more mus and not bury themselves. Of the minuses, they are expensive to maintain unfortunately. I wolud love to drive such a vehicle myself. 😀 18:04 Will you start this vehicle too ? Im very curious about it too.
Luckily since this is a Volvo, parts isn't that hard to come by or even maintain, well depending on were you live, if you live in Scandinavia then parts isn't hard to come by at all, particularly Norway and Sweden since they were loved there, both for Military and Civilian use
