If something works....don't fix it eh?! I have never been disappointed in that pattern and there was no point trying something else was there. Oh I really do feel better, yes! A nice chunk of space now for more fabric 🤣. How funny that your hubby orders Mystery boxes, I take it that he sews as well then? I did get a couple of mystery boxes once from Minerva, honestly one had crazy fabric in like a sort of dancewear fabric. Needless to say that fabric has never been used 🤣. I am with you on the denim, why does it always have to be so crisp and new looking with even colouring, I would love to make a pair of jeans that didn't look homemade and were comfy, Sounds like you need to get some fabric dye on those other pieces. Thanks Dori, isn't it crazy how all along I held up that flowery fabric and pulled an awful face and yet it has turned out to be my favourite piece out of all 6!! Re the New Look top pattern, it came out in 2016 so is strange that no one else shows it, obviously VivMom has but that goes without saying as her style is my style!! I was winding down the projects until my daughter begged me at the weekend to make a dress for her for a party on Friday... full on panic as I had to order the fabric! I don't recall Vivmom showing a NL6435 top in any of her vlogs. May have to go back and look. I so miss her videos! Have to assume she got burned out from years of daily sewing, which is easily understandable. Then, she got her new dog and her life has new purpose. 🥰 I have 2 dogs and they let me have time to myself before demanding that I finish and give them love and attention. As for your question re: what I will do with my time next week, I've been working on switching over to Jen's pattern storage method. Almost done. What's taking so long is filing the patterns into the binders. I'm trying to arrange the sheet protector pages so that similar patterns are together. I have A LOT of patterns... waaaaaay too many! 🤪@@socarole66

@@SewAndTellwithDori I may be wrong but it's either her or Stephanie as they were my to go to channels before I found Jen. I also use her system and I love it! It's like having your own tailored counter books! I keep in touch with Viv every now and again and yes, as you say she has a very different lifestyle now which I think she needed after the children grew up. Our dog is very old now but he is hanging in there ! He still loves the long walks but sleeps the rest of the time 🤣😘

Found it!! Her January 2020 makes and wow she had some good ones in there. I watch them over and over as I loved those videos. 👏🏼
