Listening this music... I imagine glorious mun landing of soviet lander... Than, all TV screens over the world turns on and playing this music all over the world, while showing placing of USSR flag on the Moon!
It feels like all the soviet leaders from Lenin to Gorbachev are just playing this anthem with some instruments behind me. Am still getting the chills everytime i watch this video
@@Kasierthedumbass Despite how much I might hate Stalin,I gotta say that his 5 year plan had saved the union,and without him,there probably would be no USSR,just a German genocide state (the nazis saw slavs as non Aryans) and made the USSR an industrial superpower,one thing I hate though is as you said,the great purge, along with agricultural collectivization.
@@bill5627 Both the great purge AND collectivization greatly contributed to Red Army's victory in Great Patriotic war too. The first got soviet command rid of reactionary and incompetent elements, even though there were people who actively abused power during it, but they were purged too (Genrich Yagoda and Yezhov as for example), and about collectivization. Yes, it's primary use was to collect the needed amount of grain to repay for industrialization, but at the same time, imagine this scenario: You're in an active state of war against an overwhelming enemy that you need a strong and well-supplied army to defeat, and in order to succeed you need to feed both the soldiers AND workers who assist them in the rear, but the primary source of nutrition is privately owned by a small minority that raises prices to the skies each time you buy a new batch.
@@throwfascistsintopits3062 My main problem was not with Collectivization, but rather, the way it was handled. It's goal was clear, and it achieved that goal, however, it could've avoided a lot of deaths and get to that point.
@@throwfascistsintopits3062 As for the great purge, while there were trotsky sympathizers and some reactionary leaders, but it went overboard due to Stalin's paranoia (Mainly due to trotsky).

USSR was one of the greatest nations of all time. I just wish the Sino-Soviet split had never happened. China and the Soviet Union being allies would have accelerated China's rise to greatness and the Soviet Union might even still be around.
For all 3 reply above me, judging by his name I think he's Italian and he's not talking about Indonesian communist party (PKI) he's talking about Partito Comunista Italia (PCI) which is Italian communist party.
