If Mankind were ever to have an unified anthem, it would be this, in this beautiful orchestral anthem. It feels mighty, inspirational. You can feel the struggle, the pain, the sacrifices of the human race all over the sad melody, and yet, it has a very uplifting, awesome, powerful vibration, that just... makes you want to charge against any difficulty or enemy. Beautiful.

This is the best version I have heard yet; it made me shiver and caused tears to well up in my eyes. I imagined in my head while I was listening to it that it was the anthem of an ideal quasi-negative act utilitarian mega-brain civilization and imagined the members of it singing about the beauty of all of their values and how they will always remain true to them.
Hands down, the most powerful anthem ever made! It brings me to tears everytime I hear it. So much passion and power. It makes you feel proud to be a part of that country. The United States is lacking in so many things and to hear beautiful music like this doesn't help.

North Korea was communist. But now they ban communisim and become fascist like Nazi Germany or Japanese Empire. Also, they break promise as men eat bread, making WMD (like Nukes), attacking civilians without any reason. So, lots of South Koreans, like me, hate North Korean Fascist piece of shit.

I hate what the Soviet Union did and how they destroyed the reputation of socialism and other leftist ideals, however, I can't help but be amazed by what they achieved for themselves. I remember reading somewhere "From wooden planks, to the first man in space" - and it's true. I wish that one day we enter a society where no one else has to be driven by hatred or violence, and where we can all just sit back and enjoy beautiful pieces of art, like this anthem, and understand its history and meaning with full maturity, making sure the atrocities associated with it never have to happen again.

It's undisputable that Russia has the most glorious and inspirational national anthem in all of countries in the world which makes proud to be a Russian. And I'm not even Russian.
It's funny how so many people see communism as a thing they want. Well actually a communist society would acually be one of the best societies ever seen. BUT... the process of transforming into one is a very painful and almost impossible mission. No one have succeded. No one will. The only way for socialism to work, is if it accepts capitalism as the only economic system, and after that, democratically distributing the wealth, where it makes sense to do so. Don't believe me? Look at Scandinavia. No one is poor in scandinavia, even if you are out of work. Everything works, and everyone is happy. Same can not be said for any country, that has attempted to fully escape capitalism. If you're a socialist, this is the only way. And an added bonus is, that if you choose this way, you won't be oppressed in the process.
This is a beautiful song, but really, I can't believe so many people are praising the USSR. Despotic Authoritarian State Capitalism isn't a model anyone should really want to go back. It's too bad, this (barely) socialist state has completely shut down any rational discussion of capitalism's flaws or the benefits of a more libertarian socialist society.

The state anthem of the USSR after 1944, is too bombastic sounding. The Internationale was the only anthem needed, but Stalin choose this anthem to replace internationalism with Soviet nationalism, which is totally alien to the ideals of communism!

Stalin didn't need "nationalism", the USSR was kinda artificial country, a concept like nationalism would be stupid. The soldiers that were dying on the front were who needed patriotism. However, in the USSR there were not only communists, to establish a communist song as the national anthem would be just dictatorship and not dictatorship of the proletariat.
