I’m Pakistani and I’ve always wondered truly why the ussr fell it was a good place and I could tell that the people there would be kind the only things that’s left of it now are some communist countries and one main country Russia 🇵🇰 🤝 🇷🇺
The funny thing is that Disney was a raging anti-communist and anti anything pro worker. When his animators went on strike he called them all traitors and communists. He was forced to recognize the Screen Cartoonist's League to end the strike. He then fired several prominent members of the Guild because they "betrayed" him.
"Strong in our friendship tried by fire, long may our crimson flag inspire." I'm probably gonna get put on a watchlist for this, but damn, is that a killer lyric to have in an anthem. That's some POWERFUL patriotism.
@@brunoactis1104 meh i don't think the u.s is concerned about communism anymore.... now if I said "jihad is coming death to america" then maybe yeah... shit
its more like Stalin : put Stalin in the song. Stalin : Dies Khrushchev : Let's all agree that stalin is bad, and should forget about the horrible crimes he committed.
@@midnightrose23 Depending on what those books where, their narrative could be BS. I studied much history (minored in it) and have taken some political theory classes at university; what I came to conclude on the USSR (really all nations) is that the bureaucrats corrupted a dream that truly was meant for the people...as it always does. Its not so different than the US and the belief that capitalism is the go-to for equality and liberty, that's a line of BS. While people can point to the various socialist and communist nations and say they are failures, people cant seem to take a look at the state of their own nation and realize that theirs is not so great either; if that was the case, there would have been no Great Depression or housing crisis of 2008. Capitalism fails just as any other economic theory, and its simple as to why; our human minds are not infallible and our tendency toward corruption all but guarantees that the minority who have power will use that to subjugate others under the guise of "liberty", "equality", "unity"; in short the guise of a utopia. What I like more about the socialist and communist political theories, is that it recognizes the struggle of class warfare and the dictatorship of the minority. For the USSR, it was founded on this idea and had sought to bring the "dictatorship of the proletariat", but since power corrupts (as it always does) there came to power one man whose early life was noted as being a bank robber, he came to power through manipulation, murder, and intimidation. Be it the robber barons (of the late 1800's to the early 20th century), the corrupt bureaucrats of would be great nations, or the oligarchs (though their corporate entities of the late 20th century to the present day), no nation is safe from corruption; no nation can be a beacon of an idealistic utopia.
The USSR was one of the most honorable nations in history. It had its issues, but what it stood for, what it protected, how it established itself. As a Black American, I will always honor the USSR.
with gopd reason. that system can never work. humans can be lazy so jobs aren't as effectiveness. also it is too simple for a dictator to take over. also they are mostly ruthless.
@@marshahammack4503 Wow. Your English and your opinion are both equally terrible. Unless by "that system" you mean capitalism, I can't really tell. In that case I apologise for everything I said about your opinion. Your English is still terrible tho
I'm not a communist or from any of the post-Soviet states at all, I'm actually American. But I feel that the Soviet Union's national anthem is truly one of the greatest ever sung on this planet.
Very patriotic song from a good people. Only politicians can ruin this world for the rest of us. As I explained to a Russian Soldier that I was training with, back in 2002, "people do not fight people, governments fight governments". He laughed and shook my hand and agreed. Wonder what ever happened to that Soviet Major.
the crimes of the russian federation are uncountable. i wish someday we may see another revolution to bring freedom back to Russia and it's sister nations. Glory to the Soviet Union
@Connor M. We could feed everyone in the world and it wouldn't effect anyone negatively. But that's "not profitable" because all people care about is a meaningless piece of paper with a number on it instead of being a decent human and helping each other out
I was a pioneer during 1978 i was not the brightest of the bunch and should use stuff incorrectly at first it was just do it like this but over time it became punishments once I was locked in a room days on end with nothing but food and water
@@mariosequeira1820 because most of them were written by the choir themselves. Who were basically just regular people so they know what they what and what they re singing. Compared to capitalist or fascist anthems for example that are written by a small high ranking group.
Still best national anthem ever.. even with what's happening in Ukraine, this is a anthem that should bring out the best in its citizens.. they should listen to it more and take note.
Indeed. There is also a song called "Made in the USSR". It begins with" Ukraine and Crimea, Belarus and Moldova.... this is my country" it makes me sad whenever i hear those words becouse countries that were brothers once are enemies now.

the neo-liberal and fascist governments of both nations have divided 2 peoples who, merely 32 years ago, were part of the greatest union on earth. it had fallen off before that, but it's formal dissolution was a great step in the wrong direction. we can only hope and fight, for the freedom of every worker, every oppressed person, to end the entwined scourges of colonialism, capitalism, and bigotry, to unite the human race as one of equals, all working together to bring humanity into the glorious new age we deserve. good luck, good skill, good fight, comrades.
"Our glory will live in the memories of nations and all generations will honour her name" very true, although USSR ceases to exist it pioneered many firsts, first satellite in space, first man in space, first woman in space, first animal in space etc. An important lesson for a certain community that has many rich nations formed in the name of a certain religion but has contributed nothing towards betterment of humanity through science and technology. I salute the USSR.
To be honest, I've listened to those hundreds of times, and still I must say the USSR had the best anthem, sometimes I wish a was a Russian before December 26, 1991

I listened to this song a lot when I was an edgy middle/high schooler, but today, after years of house hunting in the US, was the first time I heard it and truly felt the power of the message. F*ck capitalism
"We fought for the future, destroyed the invaders, and brought to our homeland the laurals of fame!" Im not a communist nor do i support the USSR, but damn thats a good line
No other system has lifted more people from poverty than capitalism has. If it weren't for capitalism, there would be none of the technology we now take for granted. In communist societies, there is no incentive for working hard bc theres no reward for your accomplishments. There are two classes in communist countries. Dirt poor citizens and filthy rich elites/corrupt politicians. Sadly we have the latter here in America. We just call them Democrats....
@Caelliox Actually, the 15 republics in the USSR declared independence against the USSR. Btw just remember it was pretty much an authoritarian dictatorship, and tensions would still be quite high against the US.
United forever in friendship and labour, Our mighty republics will ever endure. The Great Soviet Union will live through the ages. The dream of a people their fortress secure. Long live our Soviet motherland, Built by the people's mighty hand. Long live our people, united and free. Strong in our friendship tried by fire. Long may our crimson flag inspire, Shining in glory for all men to see. Through days dark and stormy where Great Lenin lead us Our eyes saw the bright sun of freedom above And Stalin our leader with faith in the people, Inspired us to build up the land that we love. Long live our Soviet motherland, Built by the people's mighty hand. Long live our people, united and free. Strong in our friendship tried by fire. Long may our crimson flag inspire, Shining in glory for all men to see. We fought for the future, destroyed the invaders, And brought to our homeland the laurels of fame. Our glory will live in the memory of nations And all generations will honour her name. Long live our Soviet motherland, Built by the people's mighty hand. Long live our people, united and free. Strong in our friendship tried by fire. Long may our crimson flag inspire, Shining in glory for all men to see.
Scott Faulkner The US anthem is not an amazing song, it's not bad, but it's hardly good. It isn't really admired anywhere outside of the US. Not that it matters, an anthem should matter to it's people, what other nations see in it is irrelevant.
Honorable Judge I like the message that the lyrics are providing, but I don't necessarily believe Communism to be the answer to anything. Just the stuff the song's suggesting, like people uniting, is great.
