This scene was so powerful. The writing. The acting. Even the make-up and the way it's lit. Maya's eyes look so dark and hollow. She looks like a shell of herself. Danielle's acting is so believable. You can see the full range of her emotions. The panic and the pain and the rage and the fear. If Danielle doesn't get an award nod for this season, I'm gonna riot.
I'd rather lose you and have you be alive. My heart shattered..not everyone gets to have a person who can say that..in their lives..only a person that loves you unconditionally can say that..

There was a little bit more tragedy than I expected. Could somebody heal the heartbreak of the both of them ? Falling apart would be able to be the best choice in that situation.
I can't imagine how tough it had to have been for the both of them to shoot this, especially with the "when your brother died" line. I can't imagine what it was like for Stefania to hear it and what it was like for Danielle to have to look her friend in the face and say it, most likely over and over again.
I mean, she basically was. So denial, so wrapped up in her own pain and rage that she literally could not make rational decisions. Trauma is a hell of a drug.

@@bobbytalavera6454 what is hypocrite carina? She is a doctor, and the other doctor too. Two doctors decided it. Maya asked carina to get her discharge misusing her medical authority, carina refused. Maya lost her job cause she broke protocols, and she took that out oj everything, for months, she put pressure on carina. Maya had moths to get help she didn't. When andrea died carina sure took some time, cause she lost a brother, her brother were shot in front of her, and she being doctor and not able to help sure had a huge trauma, but she didn't took months to recover. Maya lost a job , a job and she start acting out, she promised Carina that she will get help and she didn't, carina tried to give her space, but how many months do you need man? You need to pull things and work, get help. This is all maya. She is so damaged, that asking for help feels like burden.
Support doesn't always feel good in the moment. Sometimes it's messy and painful and draws lines in the same. When someone is this sick and destructive and this out of touch with reality, this is how you save their life. Carina said it perfectly: she may lose her, but at least she'll be alive.
